looks good minus that PSU op

Mine looks the same too except its not got poor peoples components in it

Evga is peak

Wrong, Seasonic is the true patrician's choice.

yeah you're not a pedofile at all...

Ryzen 2200g
A320m
2×4gb 2400 Corsair
450w Corsair PSU
Evga gtx 1060
240gb patriot burst ssd
20 year old case
Total $480 AUD

Attached: pc.jpg (2048x1536, 454K)

Please tell me they’re all in Raid-0

What the fuck does my PC have to do with pedophilia? Are you ones of those faggots who thinks high storage capacity = terrorist/pedo?

Oh God buy some zip ties what the fuck are those cables doing

3x separate Windows based mirror arrays all backed up to a single 8TB disk. Pic related.

Attached: ServerSpooky.png (1281x991, 86K)

yeah retard, why the fuck does anyone need more than 500gb

1080p/4K UHD blu-ray rips and encodes from my own collection
music rips into .FLAC also from my own collection
pictures and video from my DSLR
data redundancy and backups
Centralized backup location for my other PC's, phones, tablets, laptops

Not my fault you don't have any important data at all and trust everything to "the cloud" i.e. someone else's Hard drive.

>GeForce GT 710
I assume none of your 28 TB of pizza is 1080p or above, as there’s no way that things capable of playing HD video

I have no pizza. However the GT710 is more than capable of playing 1080p and supports a 4K monitor at 30HZ without issue. Playing 4K native content is of course out. I got the GT710 because the server also acts as my living room media PC while I think out a dedicated HTPC.

that's the first thing you notice? not the lack of case fans?

that user doesn't need any. Case fans aren't as important as people think when you're not running some insanely hot running hardware.

>as there’s no way that things capable of playing HD video
The iGPU of a laptop from 2007 is perfectly capable of playing 1080p video you stupid zoomer.

for performance? Yes. For purposes of just making things neat? No. It's fun.

>red leds

It's like you want to have high temps op

Surely you don't have a case with glass window. That would be super cringe.

God that’s fucking sexy and fucking retarded at the same time. Did you custom bend your copper piping. What are the connecting to the blocks with?

>horrible cable management
Looks good to me

For a stock cooler the wrath is amazing and might even manage to counterbalance the red leds

>unironicaly using water cooling
Lel

nope! No window. Still doesn't hurt to tidy things up. If you built a top tier car with $25k worth of parts under the hood, would you just take the ECU wiring and spark plug wires and toss them on top like a spaghetti mess? Or try to tuck them neatly? Sure the whole thing is hidden under the hood, but it's a professionalism thing. Pic related is my main PC in a windowless Fractal R6 Blackout.

Lots of the hives of pcmr 15 year olds constantly shit on A320 whenever someone brings it up, I've never really understood the hatred for the low end chipsets.
If you're not gonna OC and don't really need the physical expansion options of the better chipsets, why not go with A320?
>it's a better investment to get B450
For what purpose if the features won't be used

God I fucking hate the linustechtips forums

I almost want to build a pc with one and put a fucking 3700x on it with a single 4gb dimm or some shit out of pure spite

peak housefire

usually the A320 series boards are literally $10 less than a comparable B450 board. B450 boards are usually far superior in the VRM and expansion department. It comes down to what you're getting for the money. However at proper pricing, I've seen A320 chipset boards for sub $50. That's the sort of thing you go for. My buddy built his R7-1700 on an A320 board with 2x16GB of 2400MHz memory as a dirt cheap editing machine.

>Did you custom bend your copper piping?
yes
>What are the connecting to the blocks with?
1/4" to 1/2" hex nipples joined to copper with kinco nuts and olives. watercooling fittings use the exact same threads as plumbing fittings which is why this is possible

Where the actual fuck is your PSU??

inside his anus

that's a dual chamber PC case like the Corsair 540/760 cube case. It has an entire chamber behind the motherboard the the hard drives, PSU.

Hmph.

What temps do you get?
Got the same case currently running 2x NF-A14 as intakes in the front and the stock fans as out in the back and top, not sure if a Noctua for the back would be worth it. Which cooler is that?

That Fractal case looks like it needs some love user
>engineering sample
y tho

Pic unrelated. A new PC I build for my little sister out of spare parts I had laying around. Only thing I had to buy was the PSU and CPU cooler.

>Phenom... 1

Why?
A Core2Duo E8400 would blow that away in most everything

It was cheaper than a regular 7700T and I didn't need the igp
Also I've heard you can OC the engineering samples but I never did

Mate if he's using the phenom in 2019 do you think he'd practically sidegrade to an equally dead platform with no upgrade path?

is r5 1600 enough for crossfire rx480?

Attached: confusedandconcerned.jpg (404x521, 179K)

Depends what you do, the 480's aren't high end cards, I'd say that's a pretty good CPU/gpu(s) combo

>crossfire
WHY

You can get them for free though. I'm sitting right next to one I built for $4 since I needed the E8400. (it didn't support C2Q's)

>crossfire
Don't do it user. If you're gaming, SLI and crossfire are dog shit with scaling due to lazy developers not even bothering to program for it. However for professional software, yes your R5-1600 is perfectly fine assuming your motherboard can do x8/x8 configuration.

nice 1680x1050 monitor though. 16:10 is patrician.
that ddr2 at 401mhz is making me lol though.

t. phenom ii x 4 965 user

You understand that nearly no day-to-day tasks uses 4 cores and so the E8400 is 40% faster, right?

>single thread rating

you assume user is only doing "day to day" tasks. What if he's gaming? Or video editing? Encoding? you don't know that user's use case.

Any gaming he could do on that would run better on an E8400.

>only mentions gaming
Just disregard everything else I mentioned then I suppose. Are you seriously spending your time shilling for not only an Intel dual core, but an ancient as fuck dual core on an equally dead platform that user already has? For fuck's sake.

I think that what happened here is you saw old shit and went
>but why isn't he using the meta old shit
Without realize that the meta old shit is not on the same tier as a phenom x4

Not everyone who's running an old system is doing it because they got an old optiplex for 10 bucks

But now you're balls deep in defending the idea of having the optimal LGA 775 daily driver and you won't back out and admit you're simply taking things out of context for what was presented

Free upgrade is free upgrade.

That's clearly just a server, right?

nope. I know they're far and few between, but it's a SuperMicro server motherboard with the C224 chipset. Using it with unbuffered ECC DDR3

You did manage to do pretty much everything wrong, didn't you?

It will still work, but...

That kind of looks aesthetic as fuck

the user who owns that server. It's a server primarily yes. The GT710 is because it's currently acting as my make shift living room streaming PC hooked to my 65" 4k TV while I plot out a proper HTPC build. The GT710 brand new cost me $27

Any intention of getting something better? The 1950X can be had for like $450 new now.

First gen and 2nd gen ryzen X series CPU's have a 20C offset in every monitoring software that isn't RyzenMaster.

I'm waiting for 3rd gen Threadripper to get something better

specs? Use case? Honestly it seems like 99% of the time, people get rack servers because they're cheap. But they're so damned loud and power hungry.

your monster is dangerously close to the edge!

2x Xeon 6 core 12 thread @ 1.5GHz

128GB DDR3 ECC, 1 250GB SSD, 2 1TB HDDs in raid 0
Webserver, DBServer, game server hosting and so on, we do public hosting for a few FOSS game projects like TES3MP as well as some other community stuff for a few folks I know.
It's not really that loud when it's running normally, if you pop the lid or reboot it the fans kick up to jet engine level though.
For the price I paid, it's really pulled it's weight and I probably could have gotten away with less RAM.

It's almost empty, besides, the dog would clean anything I spill for me.

I'm literally doing jack shit on my pc, new games don't interest me that much, maybe RE2 remake, we'll see how cyberpunk turns out. I do wish I could run Tekken at Ultra settings though. And emulate PS3, that would be nice. Productivity is a non-factor since most I do is run Altium from time to time for simple side projects. Upgrade would be a waste.

Because if I'm going to upgrade I want to do it all proper like, at least r5x and something in the range of current 5700xt. Prices in my country are ~25% higher than their US counterparts so yeah $2k sounds about right. Well maybe $1500.

Maybe I sound retarded but I don't think it would be a good purchase in any way

That is sort of how I felt but then again I use my PC every day for hours and I upgrade my components in about 7-8 year cycles. So I thought might as well even though I might not "need" the performance.

how are your temps on the cpu?

40C idle, I have all my fans on silent which is around 800rpm.
