Is Nvidia not sending armies of code monkeys to every developer to implement RTX?
Nvidia is slacking off

No one wants this garbage shit. Everyone already saw through this scam and are now dropping like the blazing bullshit that it is.

It's a feature that takes away 40fps and gives nothing noticable in return. Its introduction and associated expense came at a time when everyone was crying for cheaper GPUs. Nobody is keen on RTX. It's a testament to Nvidia's monopolisation of the GPU market that people buy RTX at all.

proprietary implementations don't work when developers are more concerned about your competitor's machines being in everyone's house

OOF

Right looks smoother and easier on the eyes. Left looks sharper almost eye piercing. I prefer the right.

>It's a testament to Nvidia's monopolisation of the GPU market that people buy RTX at all
Pretty much this. The death of 3Dfx left a hole in the market more than anyone could have imagined at the time.

Do you spent your entire day looking at crayon drawings?

Might as well play at 720p and lock the framerate to 30 fps to make it easier for your eyes

Must really suck to have been born with genetically inferior eyes, bro.

so it didn't "just work"?

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS AHAHAHAH YES!!!!!!!! NVIDIA BTFO. CALLED IT. AMD FOR LIFE, BABY, WOO YEAH AHAHAHAHA!

Right looks blurrier which would cause more stress on the eyes over a prolonged period of time. Left looks sharper, causes less fatigue on your sight and makes enemy spotting easier. I prefer the left.

not just going full 4k lmao

OH NO NO NO

>*480p 24 FPS
Fixed your mistake

Comparing lighting to upscaling.

What did your iq mean by this?

Kek.

but Jensen Huang said that it just works everything just works it just work because RTX just works and it just works

This, it's too early for RTRT. FPS drop takes away all the advantages of better visuals, they should've waited 2-3 more gens before introducing it.

>that it just works
Because it just works. He never said it works fast.

AMD already proven it's approach to Ray-Tracing is drastically different and WAAAY better/faster.

He said "it just works", as in "it barely works but it works":

>Because it just works
>it just works
>it works
>works
Someone, insert the obligatory "that fucking lamp and floor" image, because it seems I've lost my copy.

>AMD already proven it's approach to Ray-Tracing is drastically different and WAAAY better/faster.
>*citation needed*
So far the only thing proven is that RT using general compute on GPU is much slower than dedicated silicon on RTX cards.

>AMD literally just claiming something in a patent
>proof
At this point AMDroning could very well be a religion.

LOL

>Deep Learning Supersampling
>Supersampling
"lighting"

man is your brain powered by a GT 210?
