>there's unironically a command to view your password in plaintext >your password is always just '/home/[username]' and can't be changed
>there's a command for playing a 'cd' >it doesn't do anything >no equivalent command for playing dvds
>there's a command to check whether your 'cat' needs to be fed >it just makes the prompt disappear and starts copying whatever you type until you close the window
>there's a command to perform an ftm gender transition >it just says 'What manual page do you want?'
>if you literally cry for 'help' into the void it just spews gibberish at you
>there's a command to 'bash' your head against the wall >it does nothing
>safe mode menu comes up every time you boot
>no link to purchase a license >you can only get the free trial >they didn't even program the free trial to expire
>can't even access windows recovery anymore
who the fuck designed this virus and why are people shilling it so hard

this is funny but it is actually extremely easy to get root access to any *nix system you have physical access too which is why you need full disk encryption
Jace Scott
>this is funny but it is actually extremely easy to get root access to any *nix system you have physical access too which is why you need full disk encryption Not exclusive to Unix. If an attacker has physical access you're fucked regardless of the OS. This is literally a core tenet in security. You should always use full disk encryption.

Or decent physical security.

I tried to get a free waifu using wget but all i got was an error about some missing url. What do unreal engine liscenses have to do with waifu? Please help

Effective physical security is a lot more challenging than encrypting your shit.
Evan Gutierrez
literally as easy as just keeping your linux machine in you're (you are) pocket at all times. only way an attacker can gain physical access then is to threaten you
Physical violence is a lot easier than cracking good encryption.

But it's necessary for ensuring safety of data on a server
Carter Morales
Sure but it's also a lot riskier hence why fewer tech-savvy people attempt it
Lincoln Sanders
Of course, but as an adjunct to encryption, not a substitute for it.
Also because tech-savvy people tend to be physical weaklings. But the point is that simply carrying your shit on your person is not a good way to keep it secure (in fact, it's a very bad way to keep some things secure, as opposed to keeping them locked up in a good safe when not needed).

Servers have to be online all the time, therefore leaving the encryption keys in memory and therefore would then require a trusted technical operator managing the encryption 24/7 to ensure safety. It's a lot easier to just physically protect the server.

show me one that isn't patched on the latest update of either debian, red hat, fedora or ubuntu

looks /comfy/.. how can i get one?

gpd micropc, I got it through the indiegogo campaign, it's currently not available through gpd's website (at least last i checked) but you can get it on amazon and one or two other online outlets i can't understand because they're written in chinese
