Why would you care about your case?
Just put everything in cardboard box or whatever case with sensible IO in front panel.

all the sucess cases

I would say aesthetics are stupid but there are other reasons to grab specific cases. Good airflow, expansion slots, enough space for cable management and components. There's way too many cases that fuck that up somehow. My current case (not pic related) has holes for two frontal 120mm fans but the IO blocks one of them and can't be just taken out. There's oversights like these on pretty much every fucking case under something like 60 bucks.

>cable management
Why? I did cable management on my case and it's tedious and pointless. It was annoying to replace my 1TB HDD to 4TB because of cable management.
Previously, I just pushed all cables away from fans into the box. Much easier to replace something.
btw, having open case or windowed case on desk with all RGBs shining in your eyes is retarded.

Not him, but the only thing I really care about in terms of cable management is having a case that has a space for the CPU power cable to snake along the backside of the mobo and connect without having to go in front of the mobo/fans. That and getting a PSU that doesn't have a bunch of extra unused cables hard-wired that just rattle around.

RGB/glass meme is annoying, but it's getting harder and harder to find a decent build-quality case that forgoes these trends. I'm not sure why people want their computers to look like fish tanks.

Better airflow + not having to worry precisely about having to "push away" cables. Not all cases make shit hard to access. In my case (heh) if I were to leave all the cables around I would definitely have a few eventually touch the fans. It's also more cumbersome to work with anything that connects to the motherboard.

You can disable RGBs on any case worth a shit

I don't know, your shit sounds to me like "why clean my room if it's gonna get dirty anyways"

Anything else lacks polish and looks like shit. Especially Debian forks.

I own a white corsair 540 and it's a bit unwieldy when it comes time to install your motherboard, powersupply, and disks.
