That's not bad considering it's AMD's Maxwell. The real question is two fold.
1. Can Navi 12 (big Navi) sit between 2080 Super or does it sit between 2080 and 2080 Super?
and MORE IMPORTANTLY,
2. Can AMD with RDNA2 make the same level of gains that Nvidia did from Maxwell to Pascal. If they can pull that off, Navi will be a very good architecture.

that's not even bad performance, wtf. it's clocked lower and a lower power chip and a cheaper chip than the 2070S. lacks in memory performance hence 4K performance is not scaling as well but it's still punching above the 2070 which is 50-60USD more expensive, and hits 2070S performance in many games if willing to sacrifice some power efficiency. i'm just hoping they will eventually fix the opencl drivers.
i'm excited for bigger Navi and RDNA2 tho, ampere will be a beast to wrestle with and if AMD is confident about RDNA2, well, it could mean they've got a good product in the pipeline.
