Just check which company makes money out of selling your personal info.

the only "privacy" you get with apple products is privacy against consumers, the niggers can see all your data and shit

>google - a company making money from:
>selling licenses
>selling hardware
>selling your data

>apple - a company making money from:
>selling licenses
>selling overpriced hardware
>selling your data

Don't be naive, just read their privacy policy and everything will become clear. Why would they refuse to grab the money, they're a company, not a charity. Also even if their privacy policy states, they don't sell your data, there's no way to verify this, because their software is proprietary (enjoy analysing binaries for the next 5 years).

>>selling your data
Just baldly asserting it doesn't make it so.
Apple has declared in Federal depositions that it doesn't sell or profit from users' data. If you can prove otherwise you can send Tim Cook to Federal prison.

>they said they don't do it
Oof there's a loaf off my mind, I mean what could they do, lie? Nonsense.
>prove it
I can't prove they do or they don't, so I do the rational thing: I assume they do whatever brings them the most profit. And that's selling data.

No.

Read their EULA.

>I don’t understand how encryption works

They collect BSSIDs and GPS data for their network location service.

They neglected fixing a security vulnerability for three years so law enforcement could use it as a backdoor. Who says they don't the same with iOS?
telegraph.co.uk/technology/apple/8912714/Apple-iTunes-flaw-allowed-government-spying-for-3-years.html

They also have a backdoor to remotely wipe phones.
telegraph.co.uk/technology/3358134/Apples-Jobs-confirms-iPhone-kill-switch.html

Apple proposed integrating the fingerprint scanner into the screen so you can't use the phone without giving away your fingerprint.
theguardian.com/technology/2017/feb/15/apple-removing-iphone-home-button-fingerprint-scanning-screen

Apple collects all your call history.
theintercept.com/2016/11/17/iphones-secretly-send-call-history-to-apple-security-firm-says/

We had the fappening happen because it uploads all your images to iCloud. It even sends the files to the cloud without asking for permission.
theguardian.com/technology/2014/nov/04/apple-data-privacy-icloud

Most iCloud data and some data from passcode-locked devices can be provided.

>tl;dr: here's why every apple user is a fucking retard

yes but only because people care and its a selling point

requires a warrant

Don't use Siri problem solved. Turn it off in settings. Proof you're a giant fag.

This is why i use Linux and not phones.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Yes

I'm right. PRISM requires a warrant for US Citizens. Only exception is when communication is happening with suspicious foreign citizens.

They shouldn't have the data in the first place. When presented with a court order to turn over information on someone, their response should be "We cannot comply, because we do not hold any of the requested information".

The absolute majority of Apple's profit is from selling hardware. Only a small amount comes from online services, which is basically iCloud subscriptions. But why spoil GNUmale stupidity with easily-verifiable facts?

Imagine lacking reason and not reading your own fucking links. Stupid fucking tripfag.

Imagine not being born before the Snowden leaks.

The whole "we care about your privacy" is a meme, it's just propaganda, it's like those snake oil sellers. Apple doesn't care with the chinese privacy, for instance, nor the americans privacy, they would and will gladly give all your data to FBI if asked.

>does the company complying with prism, the adl and having confirmed access to their phones care about your privacy

>Apple doesn't care with the chinese privacy, for instance, nor the americans privacy, they would and will gladly give all your data to FBI if asked.
They need to grant that access by law. What is Apple supposed to do, shut down? Also, reminder that Apple didn't comply with FBI requests to unlock terrorists' phones in 2015.
>having confirmed access to their phones
If it's confirmed, then provide a source you fungus-eater.

Oh they both make money from selling all that shit.

But apply makes money hard as fuck off of overpriced phones and laptops. They have far less incentive to sell data. They still sell it.

But google. They sell 2 phones. All other revenue is literally from data mining of some sort.

Given this who would you assume to be worse.

What are the leaks that assange released in regards to San bernadino? How behind are you?

gonna need a link

He's right though, apple really does sell your data to third parties AND the feds. When they almost get caught they throw the chink/russian contractors under the bus like the faggots they are.

hongkongfp.com/2017/06/08/china-uncovers-massive-underground-network-apple-employees-selling-customers-personal-d

Jack dorsey also swore in front of congress that twitter doesn't shadowban people. He disabled shadowbanning for that day so he wouldn't be perjuring himself. Don't be a fucking idiot. Apple does not give one shit about consumers and will do anything to make more money. If you believe otherwise, you are being taken for a ride.

No, but they pretend they care so they can force hardware DRM and claim that it's a "safety" or "privacy" "feature".

>iPhone bricked after replacing the screen?
Fuck you, it was a security test.

>T2 chip blocking repairs and restricting what you can boot?
But hey, it comes with privacy features, it's for your own good!

Google cares a lot about not letting anyone but Google have access to your data. They're the ones actually operating the largest ad network on the internet. They have nothing to gain and everything to lose by letting your data leak out so other advertisers can have access to it. Meanwhile, Apple has no such financial interest in your data security. They only need to keep things secure enough that normalfags don't lose faith in their products.
