Reddit will be tumblrED

why hasn't anyone made a NSFW-friendly streaming platform?
twitch but letting the camwhores be proper camwhores
so much potential

reddit got recently, few months ago, $150 million in invest from tencent

Advertising adgencies don't want to touch anything NSFW. Its why ads on porn sites are absolute cancer.

I use an adblocker, but I always thought porn sites make money through paid memberships.

>no advertising
>if you want to stream you have to pay for premium
>streamers make money only by donations handled by the streaming platform
>streaming platform gets 5% of every donation
literally what could go wrong?

getting people to actually use it in the first place. There’s ton of streaming sites, and why would anyone use yours if there are no customers? If there are no customers, then no streamers. If there are no streamers then there are no customers.

So when’s the mass invasion happening?

guerilla marketing

I welcome our Chinese overlords.

chaturbate is a thing

>2011: reddit invades Jow Forums, destroying it
>2019: Jow Forums invades reddit, destroying it
Pottery

ever heard of chaturbate, pornhub live, xhamster live or myfreecams?

reddit streamed mass shooting when?

It might work if they don't save any of the streams? I don't think plebbit could handle the storage costs

Are those niggers only going to stream diversity or something? Smells like Jow Forums material those faggots are going to puke to their reddshit slaves.

We need real time deepfakes so we can have a regular live stream hosted by Hitler himself on the Reddit platform

>rpan
How do they find these shitty names?

they can't even keep up their site for a week

>Advertising adgencies don't want to touch anything NSFW. Its why ads on porn sites are absolute cancer.
All ads are cancer. Full stop

>the average redditor is a sissy
How nice of them to finally admit it.

True

>We are propaganda agency now

Posting reddit/twitter screenshots should be a bannable offense.

They were apparently shadowbanning Hong King news from reaching front page

There won't be any porn, just people killing themselves like Facebook live

Reminder that Reddit used to store passwords in plaintext in their database and got their database got leaked.

make it yourself then

Plexstorm allows playing games nude or whatever. Not sure what's the point.

Never heard of Plexstorm before. Went there with high hopes, left disappointed.

We already have that, and it's really damn convincing too. We just need someone to put together a model of Hitler's head.

It's such a paltry sum to Tencent it's hardly worth mentioning on their wikipedia page.

Now to reddit, that's a chunk of change. Enough to change policies on criticizing Winnie the Pooh.

It's not easy, but you can make a reddit experience not suck, mainly by unsubscribing from default subs.

nearly everyone on Jow Forums secretly uses reddit

noonemustknowmysecret.jpeg

>twitch but letting the camwhores be proper camwhores
They stream on twitch because they don't have to be proper camwhores, betas still give them money.

>content that would be seen as highly offensive/upsetting to the average redditor

When did reddit get all these tacked on features? The redesign now loads like 1Gb of JavaScript and acts predatory (download our app!!!!) on mobile. Then they added that chat shit which is a global shoutbox for the subreddits you go on. Its awful why would you actually push that onto users, no meaningful conversation is ever going to take place on there. Then this shit. Reddit went from high quality low frequency content to the other way around after Shwartz killed himself. Hackernews is the only true low volume high quality website now.

2) All you ever see on the front page now is black people with disabilities doing something normal or parents who post their kids doing something meaningless. Don't forget the doggos!!!!!!!!!!!! And people being upset over video games like its their full time job. I like 4ch in that post has to usually have merit and to bump you have to interact with the thread, hivemind garbage harder to pull off

kek

all these redesigns are just to make the pages more friendly to advertisers etc.

streaming seems as dead now as hollywood/video game industry. twitch is low pop, mixer is doa

The biggest fuckup reddit did was when all the corporate people took over and they decided to remove imgur as reddits unofficial host. Now they can't afford to run reddit and turn a profit so they are desperate to find new revenue streams. Its really a perfect moment for a new content aggregator to take over, especially one ran by people who aren't alt-right retards that know how to market.

Oh yeah I forgot about some more non features. Fucking silver/platinum. Gold was really good for covering hosting costs (apart from promoting the post it was given). Reddit silver was a joke that the people there apparently didn't fucking understand so they made it into a real thing? Shouldn't have touched the ecosystem and discriminated image hosts :(

Why did reddit start hosting their own images? There is no profit in that and its just a burden
