xfce is written in C and kde in C++ so kde can't be better, sorry.

Attached: xfce.gif (737x720, 728K)

Are you retarded?

>Assuming that C is superior to C++
Fucking kek

of course not . i use xfce

Attached: SpaceNiggerBrain.jpg (234x215, 14K)

It is unless they are not using class and private keywords.

assume ?
c is superior to c++ its a fact

Attached: SpaceNiggerStand.png (680x435, 159K)

Pretty sure 80% of Jow Forums uses xfce or a wm

on what distro is it the best?

on every distro available

Attached: SpaceNiggerLeo.jpg (470x470, 31K)

enjoy your niggerlicious references over pure pointer based logic

Attached: C++.png (551x583, 138K)

Manjaro or mint xfce

why not xubuntu, if I may...?

will it tear?

Mint is more polished, if you want to go more barebones might as well use debian

>using DE
explain yourself user

No, but it would be extremelly paintfull.

Jokes aside tearing has been fixed for a while in mint and with 4.14 in every distro

no
its literally the Perfect DE

Attached: SpaceNiggerCIA.png (400x523, 154K)

XFCE and all other DEs are just as botnet as wangblows, prove me wrong.
>inb4 muh open sauce
as if anyone actually audits any of that shit.

>xfce
>laughs in hiDPI

do you mean that I "glow", why do I?

what do you suggest then?

FreeDos

i just attach random shit to my posts
basically
pic not related

Attached: SpaceNigger2kIq.jpg (223x226, 10K)

yes
what are you talking about? just installed it the other day on a machine with intel integrated graphics and it was tearing like it has for years.

TempleOS

>xfeces
>kdelete

Thunar shits itself all the time and has 5+ year old bugs in its basic interface.

what do you use ?

B-but I'm using dwm! Am I chad now?

cos shill

do you have nVIDIA?

no, you're a retard

who that babby mouse?

Attached: 1559646134695.jpg (748x1024, 61K)

Yeah, Im shilling 2 different free projects. How evil of me

the mouse of cooler people
who use the best DE

Attached: 1566635808759.jpg (957x621, 90K)

This, but Xfce is still a bit heavyweight for what it does. On my ancient Turion X2 the difference between Xfce and LXDE was really noticeable.

Had similar experiences when I forced Xfce on a single core intel with 1GB RAM.

yes i have nvidia

I.t.t.: willful sufferers of a rodent plague unironically using mouse-optimized interfaces.

i just got it onto my pi4 4gb. life is gr8
could not work with the raspibian desktop, LXDE is it. panel is up the wall on that. got my 100% comfy and a pi4

it seem sit tears pic related

I am but since I'm on debian it's still on 4.12.

The screen tearing issue remains unfixed for almost a decade now, unless they move to Wayland which they plan to do in the next release 4.15 (2023?) then don't expect to be fixed any time soon.

I tried the newest version.
Screen tearing, despite explicit claims otherwise.
I tried tearfree in xorg.
Still tore.
Fuck the mouse.

For me, its Lubuntu LXQT

This is with the latest version on Arch, with Intel graphics. So don't give me that "but the latest version..." or "bet you're on Nvidia" shit. The mouse can't deliver on the smallest thing a graphical session can promise: display shit properly.

vsync is bloat and adds latency, faggot

I really appreaciate the tear, user

Because it doesn't have a music player with a wall of album art

Attached: Lollypopx_1.jpg (1502x920, 401K)

>LXQT
dilate

Install KDE Neon.

Attached: Neon-logo.svg.png (1024x1024, 133K)

But I am

Attached: mate.png (1920x1080, 567K)

>best
at least it's not gnome.

Attached: 1511043360223.jpg (400x541, 26K)

KDE is less of a resource hog now. Why the fuck would I even use xfeces?

Everything but TTY is bloat.

Whenever surveyed most people use KDE, Xfce and GNOME, in that order, with a somewhat bigger step between Xfce and GNOME and a very big step between GNOME and everything else.
>wm
Don't let people fool you. Just because they cry the loudest doesn't make them a majority.

Now xfce is totally useless, 600MB of ram... Mate is better with apps

Attached: 250px-Mascot_konqi-dev-kde.png (250x354, 31K)

the burden of proof is on you faggot
audit it and show us the botnet

XFCE sucks, but xfce4-panel + Openbox is nice

Attached: openbox-windows-classic-xfce4-panel.png (1366x768, 493K)

>no whiskermenu
It's literally the greatest thing.

I'm trying to figure out how to remove the XFCE DE from my Openbox install but am worried about fucking up

too much dependencies for xfce4-panel

to poop on

that wallpaper is pure /jp/

Attached: remi-fixed.png (400x400, 11K)

I just did this. Feels comfy man.

yes!

Attached: Screenshot_20190824_143146.png (553x663, 65K)

>apt list xf* --installed
>sudo apt purge {whatever was listed}
should work just fine.

be careful, I was just assisting someone on plebbit who removed python3 and it removed a whole bunch of stuff including xorg

this should work, but again be careful

Linux Mint still uses 4.12

>grayscale font antialiasing
Why not enable subpixel antialiasing? With that resolution it must be an LCD.

what xfce package do i need

Because Openbox.

how do you get subpixel AA in openbox

Still a few days to go until Debian testing gets 4.14.

The best is Gentoo my negroid. Every piece of software runs better on Gentoo.

Whichever one gives you the appearance control panel, I guess.

You can also do it by manually editing config files, but I'm not sure exactly how. You might need to add/remove symlinks from /etc/fonts/conf.d/ and also edit $HOME/.Xresources.

Isn't it copyright inferment to post zun's offical artwork?
