Is there a way to use Google messages with a custom sms ringtone? I'm on lineage and all I can set in my main settings is a notification ringtone. I want an sms ringtone cause the sms that I get are usually important, so they should sound distinct from a reg notification (which is 9/10 some stupid bs in my email).

I know with some apps you can change it, but I want to keep using Google messages.

same, dns66 did not work at all, but personaldnsfilter on f-droid worked for me. Also if you don't mind the botnet, cloudflare's dns app also worked on my phone
