For tablets, Apple is best.

This. iPad Pro is going to get Photoshop this year. Only downside is that for shitposting you'll have to use a web browser, but Safari is so convenient nowadays.

>Jow Forums is full of applel zoomers
oh wow bros.

Name one (1) non-Apple tablet that is decent and not just abandoned hardware.

Surface

Yeah, it's Applel or go home.

It's decent but way too heavy for a tablet.

Tab s4/5

IPad pro

Right tool for the right job, clover is unmatched for postan and oled a joy to watch but ips LCD is the industry standard for editing
Separate your work and play devices is my suggestion

Do you genuinely think Jow Forums would be better if it was full with wintoddlers?

That's just wasteful, f@m. Prioritising is the way and while consuming content is obviously superior on OLED shit's still fine on LCD. Shitposting on Applels stuff sounds like a pain given their webm support tho.

get the x1 tablet lenovo.com/gb/en/tablets/windows-tablets/thinkpad-series/ThinkPad-X1-Tablet-3rd-Gen/p/22TP2CP0113

>Prioritising is the way
I disagree, strict segmentation and compartmentalization is the key to productivity

Sounds like something that'll lead to a dedicated device for each task and basically going back to the past. Having a waterproof porn tablet, a work tablet, e reader, mp3 player, a tablet for YT, a smaller shitposting device; etc, etc

pretty sure they're releasing a new ipad pro in a few months, biggest thing to improve is switching from LCD to AMOLED though and I don't know if that's happening, everything else is very superficial to your experience

what's a good tablet for manga/browing (Jow Forums)
ipajeets need not apply

kindle oasis or kobo forma. i'd go with the former

Android tablets are fucking terrible. They didn’t sell enough for developers to care about optimizing their apps for the tablet.

Rumors suggest it's just a processor drop in replacement, maybe more ram. I think if they hit 8GB the ipad will literally be laptop class, especially with ipad OS and new productivity software like the actual photoshop port and zbrush. MS is really dragging their feet and they're about to get hit with a stick for their laziness

To be fair windows tablets have the same problem. 2-in-1s are good for consumption but not much else because no one is bothering to change their ui for tablet use

Is there even software that pushes the current 4gb? Performance is the least of an issue on current Pro's.

IMO Windows tablets suffer more from the tablet side being just not very handy (if Surface) or massively underpowered if they are a more comfortable size/weight.

>Is there even software that pushes the current 4gb? Performance is the least of an issue on current Pro's.
photoshop will for sure, but I guess that depends on how much you're willing to push it. 8GB would be good though, enough to handle most things you can throw at a PC short of like industry-leading video editing or something.

Video editing tends to be more demanding and so far the stuff just flies even when doing 4k (although I haven't seen anyone editing really long clips over 1h) Photoshop isn't even that demanding on desktop unless you work with something crazy huge, so doubt it'll struggle with 4gb on a much lighter OS.

Not that I'd mind more but it just seems like long term future proofing than anything that will be needed in the next year or two.

e-ink is really nice, but i need it to be android
i used to download and transfer manga to my kobo glo but it's just such a bother- i could just download tachiyomi and have it all ready to go, the biggest difference comes with series that are being published weekly, i can just read it in 3 clicks instead of doing all that work.
while e-ink is fantastic, it'd suck on a tablet so oled is a pretty good middle point

Get a Pixelbook. Does everything the IPad does and more. Fucking Linux app support

How are they even similar devices?

Pixelbook is basically a Macbook Air with a crippled OS, slow SSD and without quality software but free botnet.

lmao pixelbook is fucking doa. Their department got gutted and is on life support. Retarded google shills. At least ipads can expect ongoing updates

>Drawing
if you mean actual drawing, then ipad pro. otherwise the S6 is fine.

I'm pretty happy with my Tab S5e but my usage is limited to reading manga (Tachiyomi), PDFs and Netflix.

Boyue Likebook mars is what I got

Video editing probably benefits more from fast storage than a lot of RAM since you're only going to be working on one video at a time and it's all sequential data, so a properly designed app can stream it in and out. Just a single PSD can be gigabytes that's loaded in its entirety and then photoshop creates multiple instances of the data as you work on it for stuff like history, filters, etc.

Tab S6 has a pen and stuff.

Street shit harder iJeet.

It's funny that no one owns a Samsung Tab S3 so no one can write shit like that on it.

>sales = quality!
You heard it here first Jow Forums, an iToddler finally admitted that Windows is far superior to macOS.

If it was decent you would have at least one person post it.

iShit just can't compete. Cope harder iJeet.

The tab s3 is a bloody marvel and has superior battery life to all subsequent models look at the notebookcheck review

Surface is not a tablet

I wonder what they can do with a13x since it's probably going to be 5nm and the 7nm one in the current pro is already like twice as powerful as you'd need for years

As much as I hate to admit it, this.

Terrible advice. Chromebooks are awful and especially bulky for what OP wants. Besides, if you are going to get a Chromebook, you probably shouldn't get the needlessly expensive one where comparable Chromebooks exist in the ~$300 range.

Throttles to hell and back. Less repairable than its Apple counterparts. Thicker, heavier, and not really usable as a tablet. It's essentially a laptop except with all the internals taped to the back of the display, and with a detachable keyboard.
Wouldn't recommend.

Galaxy tab s3 unless you want to install linux, then go for tab s4 or tab s6. Otherwise they have no advantage over tab s3.
