Where can I get headphones like these, Jow Forums?
rising the question again, more to see, maybe there is something out there
based & redpilled
is this a good purchase for 150$? (sennheiser g4me zero)
Keked
It doesnt have a bulky inline volume controller in the cable and it prob sounds pretty good
Its 110$ on amazon so yeah, pretty alright.
Real talk, I've heard so many opinions on these. Are they fine for the sub $80 price you can find on almost-new ones on eBay? It'd be my first good headphone. Should I get an amp too with em if i get em? Help audio anons
They should be ok. No, you shouldn't get an amp.
You can get the M40x for $80 new
They also have a more neutral sound signature IIRC but both are good
Thank you listening friens
I wonder what's the point of a group like this. It's just boomers posting their expensive gear to listen to fucking Diana Krall
First for END GAME
There is nothing hi-fi about tube amps.
Sennheiser hd6xx
Is using compressed air on headphones a bad idea?
Treble is super alive now, mids are, MIDS ARE. Especially the upper mids.. holy. bass is quick and very magnificent
Whoa..
Nice mudcans
You have no idea bud
very nice and gay
>You have no idea bud
Neither does Sennheiser by your logic lol
>that pic
Why?
Look user, what are those headphones you’re listening with right now?
You funny senile
Because he is a she, a femcunt, or shitty tranny, that's why
The legemdary modded 650
Huh?
>Because he is a she, a femcunt, or shitty tranny, that's why
But what does it have to do with headphones?
What album is this?
Portable tubed Stax for me.
Nothing, that's the point. his/hers/xis business has nothing to do with ours since it an attention whore
Yeh, it'll compress your audio
Castlemania by thee oh sees
>Portable tube
The most useless shit ever
huh?
^
hah?
Woops wrong pic
hey..
Gross, bro! Imagine typing this out about your $200, decade+ old mid-range headphones
anyone listen to both the hd650's and Fidelio X2's? how much more bass are we talking?
That's right, you bought garbage that is strictly worse than solid state amps.
I'd be wary of Philips headphones after having shp9500. There was something wrong with the treble
They feel like 1999$ pair of headphones. Maybe even 15k because the details are crazy and balanced
oh, ok
$1999? Mine should be worth at least $30,000. They aren't though...I wonder why...
Ew, never speak to me again about your mutilated headphones
My meinneger we are both in this predicament
>mutilated headphones
will this work? how bad would the degredation be?
source plugged in to 3.5mm stereo to RCA to mono 6.4mm's to XLR
Is that joke? What happened to akg?
based op
Shouldn't be bad as long as the connections aren't loose. But why mono, will you be listening with one side only? Also note that if you're using Windows it is possible to mix everything to mono (in accessibility settings IIRC)
More like GayKG haha
RCA left and right to mono 6.4mm on each plug then the 6.4's to XLR adapters. i'll heat shrink the connections together, so hopefully somethig being loose wont be a problem
just doing it for shits and giggles by the way.
lol what would happen if they bought audio technica or stax?
Funny how they've lost value in the used market. People praised it a lot when they came, saying the DSP in it was a work of art an all of that, and it's a really compelling package, just a package that doesn't make a lot of sense. You can have a way better can for home use with that money, and BT doesn't make a lot of sense for home use, you't get a wired one.
For portable use, those are too big and will probably lose to a pair of good IEM's, that can fit in your pocket.
Maybe I'm just being a boomer thinking people still use wired earphones outside the house. Do these even support modern BT protocols (LDAC, aptX)?

Have a cloud 1 headset (pic related) planning to do detachable cable mod and wireless mod, for the wireless mod I have a chink Bluetooth headset that broke but the board is working so I'll just chuck it inside the cloud and wire it. Only problem is the cut outs for the charging port and the buttons, any tips how to cleanly drill holes on plastic?

Koss kph30ik
>sennheiser users shit on stax for nobass
>sennheiser users say stax are too expensive and audiophool garbage
>sennheiser releases their top of the line headphone
>mfw it's basically electrostatic
>mfw sennheiser's top of the line stax
>mfw it costs 50k
I bet they aren't even driver matched, desu
tfw nonmatching platinum seran wrap ;o;
Hope all of you get tinnitus and never enjoy music again.

I bought a nice pair of headphones (upgraded from AKG K240 to Hifiman HE400S with Focus pads) and have discovered that I am apparently a basic bitch because all the music I listen to a. isn't texturally complex, b. is lo-fi and consequently has a low cap for how good it can sound, or c. is bass-heavy and thus all details are thrown out the window. Can you recommend some good reference songs so I can really compare the differences between these two headphones?
my advice to you, stop now while you're ahead. do you want to listen to the music you like or do you want to listen to the headphones that you bought?
Are there any good low latency wireless headphones yet?
I want to and am going to listen to the music I like, but I'm just curious about having a good comparison between the two pairs
Anyone know what bluetooth modules are good? Want to cut the cord, can't actually use bluetooth normally because I have multiple devices going into a mixer. It also needs to have a microphone output.
Could also use suggestions on a new mixer. My old Mix5 isn't properly grounded and balancing shit to minimize buzzing is like spinning plates.
Shp9500 vs HD6xx
well, what is it you are presently listening with, right now user
Sennheiser GSP300
Bluetooth blows at latency. There's some gamer ones that I think use a proprietary protocol that actually is very low latency. I'd really like to see something like that but that gives you a little converter box with a 3.5mm jack instead of a gamer headset. Like what ES100 and others do for Bluetooth.
Both Aeolus and Verite are so fucking good. I'm probably saving up for the latter as an upgrade over my ancient SR-007MK1.
Yes, both. At the same time.
Best WIRELESS headphones for watching movies around $100?
nothing?
>owing both low budget gear and high
You are sad motherfucker
There isn't a high budget gear there...
of course you have an op-1
of course
fucking nerd
Is there any guides or recommendations for desktop speakers?
I only have about $100 and dont have enough for a full system or anything like that.

Got the MH751 today, realy nice.
>Family photo
>own 80€ closed headphones
>buy 2nd pair of 80€ closed headphones
ok
What do you think of the cable/microphonics?
i have two setup and these are a upgrade on logitech g230 (7years old btw)
the cable is short and straight, there is no kink in them. nice
you can find mic test online, they are better than the g230, thats all that matter to me
are the MH751's fairly recent? first time I heard of them
Just realised I don't have a closed pair on my desk. I'll probably take down the HD515 and swap it with a Beats Pro.
What's the difference with /hpg/?
npr.org
You did get them all right, $300+ headphones owners, right?
Are these better than Sony WH-1000X in sound quality?
2H of 2018
Fairly new i might say
Anyone got a good Sennheiser HD58x preset for Foobar2000? want a little more bass.
i can only differentiate from FLAC and MP3 192 CBR, and only by focusing on the overtones and harmonics in the cymbals
Are the ThieAudio Phantom actually good or are they just another overhyped 350$ Planar like the M1060 and the Verum? That Price point is reasonable for Planars I feel as I refuse to pay 1000+ on headphones. The only other ones own are the Bosshifi B8 that some autist always shilled here last December and the 58X Jubilee that my Wife gifted me.
Tldr: I want to buy a good "cheap" Planar.
they seem to be a rebranded takstar pro 82 of sorts? Might buy them just to hear how they sound
