I'm all about small government but I think we're getting off topic here. I was talking in regards to moderation of a group/chat. Specifically just to remove non related content regardless of its legality. But now I'm curious. Do you not think ANY form of government should be in place?

To give a view point on my stance, I think the government should only be in place to maintain the military and maintain public roads. I think all politicians caught taking money from the public they represent and/or from outside countries should be publicly hung. I'm not advocating big government, but are you NO government? That's just pure anarchy at that point and no country will live long like that.

Any form of state that is not voluntary shouldn't exist, that include any and all forms of taxation (including sales taxes which are still a form of extortion). Other countries exist, with their own police, military and laws. Why can't this be subdivided into a more general sense, and you get to choose what defense agency you hire? There is a large incentive for a good reputation, so due process, speedy trial and other such good things would be highly valued and pushed to the top of the market. This would also destroy any police brutality, those defense agencies would quickly go bankrupt. Peaceful negotiation is also more profitable, so warring agencies would also go bankrupt. Look up "Law without government".
