Good. 99% of Windows virus problems were because retards refused to install security patches.

Actually I meant 32-bit versions of Windows but I figured it might be misinterpreted as soon as I posted it.

People wouldn't avoid updates like the plague if Microsoft had a proper way for installing them.

>shutdown computer for the day
>installs updates and turns off pc

I moved to KDE Neon and never looked back. If you still use Windows as your daily driver you're a tech illiterate pajeet.

Like a package repository?

X86 64 Bit has been available since 2003 but some tablets and netbooks still ship with 32bit uefi so have to use 32-bit Windows.

>computer reboots while you're using it because active hours detection sucks
>gets stuck for 2 hours in a loop of installing updates and undoing the changes because "something happened"
I have seen it happen multiple times, it really sucks.

Yes.

but that's wrong
you got your viruses because you downloaded "hyperrealysticfurryporn.exe" and run it
retard

>things that never happen

Can't hold it back anymore!

why would anyone run 32bit windows 7 on a system with a 2600k?

there's more problems here than just letting go.

>the driver for your old-ass piece of quirky hardware only exists in 32-bit

I dont understand people who unironically use it updated shitty Vista, its just doesnt make any sense.

>rig works great on windows 7
>upgrade to 10
>keep getting reboots due to kernel power

Never again.

no, I'm very economical never use more than 8 of those bits, so 32 is more than enough, you are just wasteful

I actually liked Vista more. Life was simpler when Vista was around. Now Windows has two control panels, two browsers, two image viewers and inconsistent shitty UI.

Heck I let windows XP go

>Life was simpler when Vista was around
The drivers were a mess and UAC broke like half of the software ever written for windows.
By the time 7 came out these issues were mostly addressed, hence why normies hate Vista and adore Win7 even though they're the exact same shit.
basically Vista wasn't bad but if you were an early adopter you were fucked. Life was a pain when vista came out.

Vista was THE largest garbage fire Microsoft ever released to the public at large

>shut down the computer
>not putting it to sleep or into hibernation
found the boomer

let got of windows 7 or 32 bit?
64 bit isnt really that useful in day to day life or basic automation tasks so if the hardware can perform its job while still being cost effective to run then there is no need to upgrade it.

If you mean let go of 7 and switch to 10 then youre a methed out retard. Pajeet10 deletes your files and has a government mandated panic over security flaws and botched updates on a weekly basis.

Do not upgrade if the hardware is 32 bit. Run a clean install and load up only legacy software. You're just going to suffer horrible driver issues on unsupported obsolete hardware.

Buy a newer computer for Windows 10 and enjoy your old PC for games.
