Signal is the only acceptably secure e2e phone app. Leaked NSA docs show they're incapable of breaking its use.

if you're looking for something that your whatsapp normalfag friends might actually switch to, i'd suggest telegram.
>REQUIRES phone number to register an account
Fuck off CIA nigger.
Riot.im
No personal info needed to sign up an account, not even an email.
no voice calls
>requires a phone number to use
fuck off
>Use an email address to recover your account
This is why you use an email, you retard
i never claimed telegram was private or secure for drug dealers and terrorists, i said it's something whatsapp normalfags might actually use.
so what do terrorists use?
i'd assume riot.im or pgp mail
and i'd suggest Wire
Briar. If you need only text.
Pen and paper... The ones that never get caught for example Taliban use radios no internet or burner phones for a day or 2 then thrown in trash
For me? It's GNU Jami
any self hosted server-client apps?
>these five
Works so far for me for the messaging features. Seems pretty gud.
That's how I feel about messaging apps and social media as a whole. I refuse to have 15 different apps for 1 purpose each, so count me out of all this noise.
>15 different apps for 1 purpose each
wooh, UNIX philosophy!
Why can't linux devs come up with half decent names for their software? I use linux myself but good lord its like a 2 year old trying to speak
