How To Host "Questionable" Websites
Brody Kelly
Wyatt Moore
it's very easy to host a website where no one will tell who you are etc. but all it takes is a few strokes of a pen and 99.99999% of the world can no longer resolve the DNS to your website. yeah, the technically competent can get there, but if you're trying to spread a message you're basically neutered the internet is no longer a wild west
Gavin Peterson
That site has a bunch of info in the FAQ on BPH and related fare. Highly recommended.

good thread

Kiwifarms and Pirate Bay have both proven hilarious resilient. Eventually the answer is "build your own everything".
Kayden Anderson
somewhat related, what happened to voat? it keeps displaying error 1020. did the jews get to them? wtf
piratebay is a shell of its former self. kiwifarms i'll give you somewhat, though they're mostly shitposters as far as i can tell. their worse deeds seem to be fucking over with people, in legal ways. but i guess you gotta give credit to the admin for not being a little bitch
Mason Russell
i vouch for orangewebsite. CEO btfo'd Twitch and Riot Games when they came for me in a day and gave me back the domain, just said i should've responded faster.
Michael Green
i suppose the governments aren't trying hard enough. i guess. if these sites were really nuisances and a government was authoritarian enough, they could block them. if we end up sliding into some sort of brave new world/1984 kind of shit the average person isn't going to know how to thwart means of censorship if their primary access to the global communications network is a complex walled garden more concerned with apps than ip addresses
Connor Moore
Sure but unless you're trying to run toppletheamericangovernment.com and signing into it with faceboomer the government probably doesn't care beyond basic law enforcement
If you are trying to run a website organizing the destructive of the american government you probably shouldn't be getting your security tips from Jow Forums
Adam Sanders
>if we end up
...user, have you just woke up from a coma?
Matthew Price
Nice. But, lots of those hosts are just co-lo for other data centers like flokinet.
And I know there is a "tor hosts" section, but, there is no mention of an .onion url, even if for backup.
You also don't have to use a specific host to setup a Tor website. Any crappy VPS can do host one. They're nothing special.
Mason Kelly
i suppose my point is that the fine-grained censorship would be a lot more easier if some malicious entity took control of a few of the authoritative systems of the internet. even if the means of bypassing it are easy, think about how many people would only use devices or connections that rely on these authoritative systems. even if you told them to use alternative DNS servers, for instance
>would their device even allow them to
>would you be able to explain how to
>will you be unpersoned if you're caught doing it
i might just be a little paranoid, but china isn't setting a great example

Kiwifarms/Foxdix is good use as an archival website on autists in place of ED, but the users are cancereous and so is Null. Anyways, don't see why they would be shut down. Does Null allow them to post full dox?
Thomas Howard
ebin takedown. I'm gonna post this on Jow Forumsepicwin
Logan Baker
>did the jews get to them?
That plebbit alternative with an Iranian creator that hosted it on cia servers? Seemed like a honeypot from jumpstreet.
Zachary Lee
>recommends using cloudflare
>all this shit when you can just host a tor, i2p, zeronet or freenet site
Useless guide.
Daniel Jones
>freenet
Inferior zeronet
>zeronet
Slow as fuck, requires javascript, automatically loaded from third party sites (fucking kek)
Nothing bad to say about tor or i2p
Jose Watson
>avoid European Union and any countries friendly towards them
>suggests .ch domain
Are you retarded or just pretending to be?
Ian Powell
>what happened to voat
Last user switched off the lights when they went back to R*ddit
Michael Davis
What’s the point of this? Too much trouble and little (if any) benefit.
Jason Cooper
>all that russian dick riding
Would you like to ask Anglin how many hours Daily Stormer was in Russia before government demanded to terminate their service?
Cooper Young
Yeah, you'd do well to avoid sieg heiling and swastikas while being hosted in the country that BTFO'd the original Nazis. That's just in bad taste.
Otherwise, everything goes, nobody will even bother checking beyond the front page. And there's no DMCA-compliant legal process (or much of any legal process for website takedown, unless you offend one of the state organizations openly).
Dominic Torres
Would you like to ask Rutracker (originally torrents.ru) why they haven't touched Russia with a 10 foot pole since 2008?
Jack Torres
>'questionable' websites
>bad taste
Nice one, Vlad.
Andrew Morris
Because they pirate Russian-made content, so there are actual people with actual connections in the same jurisdiction that have the ability to fuck their shit up.
Also, because half of the admins are cockholes, but that's beside the point.
You DO NOT host in the jurisdiction you are explicitly infringing against. This is the rule 0 of such operations. You pick the jurisdictions that are least likely to prosecute you for your intent, THEN you go through the guide like OPpic and pick providers in your preferred jurisdictions and distribute and compartmentalize your operation as much as you can afford.
Against a mildly motivated nation-state actor, you are nothing. So the key is to remain a nothing and avoid motivating the state you're hosted in.
Jaxon Richardson
Actual people with actual connections in Russia now spend money to buy exclusive rights from USA content makers, because no one wants Russian-made content even for free. And then they enforce their rights in court to BTFO you out of the country for Game of Thrones or Handmaid's Tale.
Next time you want to educate someone, you might want to do some research before talking out of your ass.
>cockholes
Wasn't really necessary to out yourself, Mr. Putin Suckcock, it was pretty obvious from the start.
Dominic Howard
>Does Null allow them to post full dox?
Yeah, far as I know the only requirement is the person is a lolcow (not a rational human being). Sometimes Josh might block a thread on a person but that usually is a case by case kind of thing.
Jaxon Phillips
bump for interest

wrong fucker
ch and li demand your info for the contract
the rest on your list probably as well
>cloud flare
bwahahahaha
Evan Rivera
Good png OP. Ty.

This thread needs to be deleted. Now.
Jackson Richardson
>Avoid USA, UK, Canada, Australia, EU and any countries friendly towards them
>guide full of US/EU companies
Juan Gonzalez
>recommending voxility
lmao
Jason Richardson
They aren't allowed to go back, voat became a literal Nazi haven.
Parker Johnson
I can buy both .ch and .li domains anonymously right now using Bitcoin/Monero @ njal.la - they don't request any person information.
Owen Perez
Voxility hosts lots of pirate/dmca content. Lots of streaming and pirate sites use them. Almost any host is gonna buckle under worldwide pressure from the News/Social Media (EIGHT-Chan)
There is no one size fits all hosting...You must choose the right location, company, and hosting for your specific project...
Warez, Malware, Phishing, Etc is good for middle east...However not porn or anyone/anything critical of Islam.
GTFO with comments about I2P, Zeronet, etc. Everyone fucking knows about that stuff, but if you want your site to be popular and its not the next Silk Road...then you need a clearnet site...Its easy to remain anonymous still if you aren't mentally challenged.
Isaiah Gonzalez
thoughts on internetbs? why did they fuck with 8 chan?
Jaxon Thompson
Avoid, they once dealt with sketchy sites...They got bought out by a European or UK company a few years ago and went totally legit. They used to be the pharma domain reg king...Not anymore...
Njal.la is best domain registrar for DMCA/warez
now.top is a known bulletproof Hong Kong / China domain registrar...all the carding sites use them (carding = stealing credit cards)
.su domains from the right provider like xuid.ru are very bulletproof
You could also try flokinet.is to register domains.
