Thinkpads open with 1 finger

>he can't turn on and use his computer using one finger
Look at this troglodyte.

I've owned a T60, a T440p and a X230.

None of them opened with one hand.

Being sturdy is a good thing, dumb macfag.

I just did it on my T420 though after seeeeeeeeeeeing this threeeeead

make a webm

What? You just move the little thing to the right and pull up. Are you having a hard time visualizing this?

yes i am having a hard time visualizing you opening your thinkpad with one hand/finger. make that webm and i will believe.

I'm not gonna waste time making a webm because you refuse to use your brain for a minute

not him, but you place your thumb on the latch, and index finger on the top of the lid
then you shift your thumb right to unlock the display, and while lightly pinching your thumb and index finger, you raise the lid to your desired angle
this is how to open a laptop with a lid latch

You don't even really need the index finger. just raise woth the thumb

you can do that as well, but only if you want to show off that you can
same with a latch-less laptop, you can use only your thumb, but what, does the top have paint drying on it or something?

because the thread is
>>he can't open his laptop with just one finger

yet note how op's gif also grips the lid by pinching his thumb and index finger (even touches it with more fingers)
it's more comfortable to do it like this, even though you can technically use only your thumb either way

>thumb is not a finger
>thinkpads require 0 fingers to open
crapple btfo again

>he can't open his laptop for 180 degrees
>look at him breaking his toy of a laptop

>his screen wobbles at the slightest touch or movement

i have an X1 Carbon
probably about as expensive as a macbook
does not open with 1 finger
will flip over if you try

I never got the point of hinges that go 180 degrees.
I get the purpose of the ones that go all the way around (to be a sort of tablet, obviously), but is anyone really using the screen at more than, like, 120 degrees? stuff any laptop can do?

Why would you want the hinge to be loose?

How the fuck do people consider this a feature?

excessive amount of estrogen
