There used to be a video site, just like youtube, but it uploaded all its videos in 1080p and divx(I think). The site's name was stage 9 or something, I don't really remember the details.

Point is that people uploaded all kinds of shows and anime on it, and you could download the videos directly in 1080p. It had ALL the shows/movies at one point, because everybody started using it as soon as people learned about it. And then it got shut down just as quickly as it surfaced.

But damn, was it a great time to watch/download shit. Must've been around 2008 I think.

i liked how RS had a rewards system that was easily abused.

back then megaupload was $50/yr for premium access. that was a steal, so i had it, and i went on /rs/ (F) and mirrored all of the megaupload links to RS, then reposted the links en masse. doing so got me points on every download which i used to fuel like a 24-month long free rapidshare premium access subscription. this system literally encouraged & rewarded sharing things that were popular to download like porn and warez. it was based.
