I got a job without linking my GitHub and all my projects save one were added after I got the job

I just told people it was really good

>unpaid internship
you know how I know that you're an american?

in my country the employer would say "lol wtf is github?"

I just got an opportunity for a paid internship. It's not official they're reviewing and could very well revoke it but damn it's so close

>tfw going to volunteer for some stupid dating Sim VN development just to get a reference

ugh

>unpaid work

How does it feel to be wiping the floor with your own toothbrush because the CEO wants a third yacht?

Feels like capitalism

Just network bro, just bump into the CEO on your morning walk

>welcome to late stage capitalism

Do you have a degree? Did you get any form of experience in college? If not, you're a dumbass and you have only yourself to blame.

*takes a bite of protein shake*

This website is too problematic for me

*reexamines gender*

I'm gonna talk to my wife's son and remind him not to come here

*unwinds with stranger things*

Diversification is key, my boys. I also have my own website and I stream, and beyond that my niche is pretty much completely unrelated to politics or social issues.

Not only am I nearly immune to getting targeted (other than being a white male), even if YouTube completely deleted my channel today, I would be fine.

Always diversify. Doesn't matter if you're a content creator, a programmer, or a garbage truck driver. Don't give any one person or organization the power to destroy your life.

>*takes a bite of protein shake*
Those people do not consume protein of any kind. Should be obvious based on how frail all of them are.

what is wrong with Stranger Things?
and please don't tell me because of Jow Forums's "muh contrarianism"

>diversity is key
i want your jewish agenda out of my chan chan chan chan

I didn't say diversity. Diversity is inherently bad for a nation, hence why Jews and Israel push it on majority-white countries but for _some_ reason, don't allow refugees into Israel, hmmmm.

Diversification, financially speaking, is an extremely good idea. Don't keep all your eggs in one basket. And if your basket is being held by a single company, especially a single company that's openly anti-white and anti-male (YouTube, Intel, Twitter, Facebook, and Netflix come to mind), you are in an extremely precarious situation.

If you can't diversify your income with similar lines of work, diversify it through investment. Broad-market ETFs like Vanguard's VTI or VOO are great for the stock market side of things, or rental properties if you're willing to put in a bit of work and deal with extra risk.

Too many people are being held by the balls by their employer, who can pull the rug out from under them at any point. With a bit of research and work, you can get your balls back.

its lame boring nostalgia bait for people who grew up in the 90s larping about growing up in the 80s. same reason why synthwave and those shitty VHS filters are coming back in style. its merely showing off 80s culture in a very tame and normative way.
the first season was cool but it just feels like a lame slice of life thing rather than a show about scary paranormal demon guys. the kids got way too old for their roles.

...

The first season was okay, the second season was literal rehash of the first, and the third is just plain bad, because it's very obvious they rand out of ideas at the first season.

It starts off vaguely interesting, then rehashes the same points for 3 hours to a very unsatisfying conclusion

and then after reaching that conclusion they decide to add 2 more seasons of nothing

you got that right at least, i invest on the side if my actual job
entertainment is still a very jewish thing to dk though

too late for the boom of the second industrial revolution too early for the third one.

Trash acting, trash setting, Netflix socian engineering normie trash for literally braindead social media faggot cunts

it's kinda maddening how people hiring don't even bother to look at your github profile for 10 seconds before interviewing you.

I've basically scrapped everything on my resume and had a big giant link with a description to various projects to get people to look

I guess they could also assume just because you have a github doesn't necessarily mean you wrote everything. but still, if you can explain what's going on it wouldn't hurt for them to look

>>>
okay reddit man

I created 2 vague projects and got hired full-time

What are you saying, if anything a 80s revival would help us escape this secular puritanism and progressive politics

so this is the power of Jow Forums reading comprehension

doesn't seen like a bad idea, put under a section of Personal projects and copy+paste the summary from readme

Also on my end I'm entry level so I'm gonna assume that having no experience but a list of projects is infinitely more helpful than min wage jobs. Hopefully I'll get some dumbass volunteer work on there but my bullshit projects should help

80s nostalgia, even for people that weren't even born then is just an unconscious reaction from society's discontent for secular puritanism and progressive politics while forced to keep silent about it.

>projecting this hard

Just create one GOOD project.
You have to understand that the hire guy have a SHITTON of people to sif thru, so if he's not impressed with you in less than a minute, you're fucked.

no it wouldn't. it's too ingrained into society at this point. it's just escapism into a bygone era.

What third world shithole do you live in?

>be me
>fall for the college """meme"""
>go to carreer fair
>recruiters out the ass
>I have high tier grades in my class
