1440p 144hz IPS
yes, very nice.
two pages of 16pt text side by side without an overlap (will overlap at 1080p)

That's perfection though. Look at the 27GL850
>1440p 144hz
>1ms
>IPS sexyness
imagine buying a TN turd over this, the response time thing was the only thing they bitched out. And it's only $500
I'm sure the 1080p variant of this panel exists too, just fuck TN.
I have 1440p on my phone, 1440p on a gaming monitor is already obsolete. When will we finally get uhd 120hz ips
crank your elbows under the bar you dumb bitch
1440p is the 720p of 2019
Get with the times, boomers
>1080p 144Hz VA
IPS sucks at night
Not as much as your mum mate
low glow panels honestly aren't that terrible desu
Turn your lights on, dipshit.
1080p @ 62hz over vga
they need adaptive brightness
UHD is a meme. 1440p with supersampling is enough for everybody.
This. IPS glow is still an issue sometimes.
No it isn't. It's far superior for both games and work.
I'm waiting on 32" 4k 100hz+ for just this reason.
75hz
>over vga
Not at all. I'm playing Deus Ex now and there's a lot of dark scenes, it looks great, zero glow or scenes where the black looks gray. Just lol
wait until you see a VA panel in the dark
480i via composite master race
1080p60 15.6 IPS
same
>2880x1620 15.6 inch IPS
I wasted 700$ on a monitor with these specs, had to return it three times, and the one i got still has issues.
>IPS
TN is honestly a better match for 144Hz monitors since you should only be using them for gaming anyway.
>1080p 60hz overclocked to 72hz
>800x600 60hz CRT
>2560x1080 144hz IPS
how big is an upgrade from 1080p 144hz TN panel to 3440x1440 ultrawide ips?
is it worth to spend money?
>1080p 240hz TN
Yes yes that's nivce but what about the actual important bit:
>nipple trackpoint instead of over 9000 dogshit buttons
>bezelless
Been through a couple of monitors myself but these two are what I notice the most.

>meme res meme freq meme panel
Wow
I have a 1440p 27 inch Dell monitor at work and I can see the pixels
>they sell 4k 144hz panels already
>No connection standard is capable of that yet
Are the people buying those panels dumb or is there some way to get 4k 144hz on HDMI 2.1 or displayport 1.4 I don't know about?
>800x600 160hz CRT
U can run 4:4:4 Chroma at 120hz 4k with one 1.4 dp
To push 4:4:4 144hz there's that Acer with dual dp cables. Also that new Asus with display stream compression coming out for single cable
Else above 120hz u have to lower chroma below 4:4:4 to have enough bandwidth to push 144hz over dp 1.4
>1080p 144hz TN
And to think that none of these features bother me at all nor do they make feel the need to upgrade but the stupid joystick control panel does
>1440p+1080p portrait 60Hz
Now with integer scaling on the rise, it seems that soon it'll be 4k 144hz that is the most optimum. Oh and probably VA technology as well, since most of the kinks with response times have been improved.
no it's not worth the money. It's disgustingly expensive. Get a ips 1440p 144hz and a cheap 1080p 60hz tn as a secondary screen
>1440p 144hz TN gsync
I had an ips screen right next to it, the only difference was a little deeper blacks on the ips, apart from that it's the same thing
1440p 144hz ips
3440x1440 100hz ips
4k oled
Should I just wait for video cards to catch up to 4k b4 buying a monitor or get a 1440 144 ips? I only buy computers once a decade
144 hz is a big plus in my opinion when it comes to responsiveness on displays. Though if this doesn't bother you too much than i'd probably recommend getting a 4k panel and an nvidia gpu then scale 1080p/720p content to 4k using integer scaling (its now an option in the display scaling).
>using screens and hurting eyes with incoming light
>When video cannons exist
Not in picture: my trolley with thinkpad
>165hz 1280x2160 IPS OLED CRT G-Sync compatible (on Tuesdays)
The jump from 60hz to 144hz is bigger than 1080p to 1440p. 1440p 144hz is the best mid range shit right now. 4k 60 sucks
1366x768 60hz TN
my asus K55A has that exact specs!
Unironically the best choice

>1440p 144Hz VA
At least I got a good deal on it.
I thought 1440 scaled better than 4k?
QRD on integer scaling?
>uh oh, someone likes a thing I don't

>1080p 0.00006MHz IPS
1080p 144hz IPS
It would still have shit motion. Just cause you have high refresh rate doesn't mean you don't have input lag, stuttering motion, ghosting. With IPS you are gonna have ghosting out the ass.
Most TV doesn't even scale past 720p@50/60Hz
I'll stick with that old worn display from 10 years ago methinks
Yep. Had it for 3 1/2 years and loved every second, including g-sync.
Acer vx something? I've got that too. Also, apparently G-Sync works with two DP cables on 144hz "10"bit, but maybe it's just the Nvidia control panel saying it is compatible but it isn't.
I got a new 27" one for 250€, feels good man. The difference from 1080p 60fps is insane, I can't go back to using poverty resolution or refresh rate anymore.
That's what she said ha
