welcome to the world of software development in 2019: rip off your supporters for as long as you possibly can, then make up some bullshit story about how you're the victim.

what is this. porn tab download?

Why not just make it a standalone program with an extension to link it to the browser? Seems like it would be better considering WebExt limitations

I don't see anything wrong with this. If there are some retards ready to give money for whatever reason, there is no reason not to profit off these cucklords.
They're usually the same people people that watch Disney/Marvel movies and are hyped for the new Progressive Wars 9, they waste their money on useless things anyway, nothing wrong with getting your share.
The same apply to software patreon, take a look at godot or icculus patreon, the testosterone level is pretty much 0 and there is no (actual) women.

Used this years ago, found way better alternative. Like jdownloader, idm

It's shit. Can't begin downloading with 2 clicks, have to do 3 with a tiny annoying menu. And then there's no popup listing downloads, it has to be a new tab or nothing. Total dogshit. No previous downthemall user would like this. Fuck firefox anyway. Waterfox / opera here.
Benjamin Robinson
faggot op, the addons page is still old and their webpage is not loading.

Can't set download folders, can't overwrite or skip existing files, can't even auto-truncate too-long path/file names.
literally a gimped retard of an extension, you're better off manually downloading everything.

not my fault that the most relevant result in the search is a clone of mozilla.org from mozilla.

I don't know about you but it works pretty well for downloading all the images in threads. It supports crawling links to find files and it can download all files concurrently and you can also set renaming masks so that the files do not just come out as a bunch of non-descriptive unix timestamps. Seems to be a whole lot better than the build in download manager to me. Downside is that it doesn't support threaded downloading and it doesn't let you set custom download folders from within itself. Maybe that will be fixed some day though

As mentioned earlier no way to choose download location, so everything just gets dumped on the desktop, no select all or deselect, have to do everything manually.
It can't differentiate thumbnails from the full image, same with videos, it ignores them unless they're active so if you're on a site like Jow Forums with inline image enlargement you will have to enlarge the images first. Multiple popup UI that should be a one and done. The download popup ignores your changes on the machine. So if you download an image and go "Oops, don't want that.", you delete it, the add-on will say "Oh I see you deleted that file let me redownload it for you." You have to go in and remove completed so the add-on doesn't put it right back.
UI has been stripped down and not in a good way. A bunch of options are missing. I don't think the old multi-part downloads is (download accelerator) present, which was a god send when dealing with websites that throttle the fuck out of downloads.
This feels on par with the shitty alternatives Mozilla put out. A real disappointment after two fucking years.

It's good enough for me to use it on e-hentai so I'm happy.
