If you invested a dollar in Microsoft stock in 1990, you'd be a billionaire today

If you invested a dollar in Microsoft stock in 1990, you'd be a billionaire today.

What is the Microsoft of today and I should invest a dollar in, in order to become a billionaire in the future?

yeah dude except microsoft actually acquired github last year so you can't invest a single dollar in it anymore

Quantum computing

Pretty sure the smallest share in microsoft is about $400

If you invested a dollar in microsoft in 1990, it would be worth $137 dollars today

How did you get this number? I'm estimating, if you put in $1 in Jan 1990, you would have around $200k. Maybe I am way off though. Stock splits make it tricky.

You can't just invest a DOLLAR. Who cares? Sage goes in all fields you proprietary software supporting nazi.

if u invented google in 1970 u would b a trillionaire today

yea

also it was never public.

> invest $1
share price at start of 1990 was around 60 cents.
>you'd be a billionaire today
do you even know how mathematics works?

all possibilities are gobbled up in acquisitions nowadays. tech is a dead end, better to look elsewhere.

Put a dollar in the s&p 500

Not true.

Invest $100 in 100 companies and hope it pays off.

RIM is going places.

chainlink :o)

put that dollar in gold or bitcoin unless you want to have 40 cents within 5 years

>crypto cuck
>gold cuck
Lmao

Bitcoin for quick but small returns. Cryptocurrency is a joke and will fail but right now it's easy money from idiots. I made $300 a few months back and only invested $100 or something like that. $200 for doing nothing except waiting a month. It's not good but it's better than nothing if you're starting.

Investing is just educated guessing. I would bet on technology and software. Software especially since society is moving towards that. The next big thing will definitely be some kind of app.

Is she a porn star or where do I find nudes?

If you invested a dollar in bitcoin in 2009 you'd be a billionaire today too.
Right now you should really invest hard in drones. They're going to be huuuge, I tell you.

It's all about making money faggot

Just invest a dollar into everything, you can't lose.

>The next big thing will definitely be some kind of app.
Your boomer is showing.

I don't think there is a microsoft of today.

Microsoft's rise to power was a part of the shift to tech companies being the dominant competitor in the economy, and technology/data became bigger sources of wealth than industrial assets / capital

bitcoin was the chance but you are to late.
If you buy at 6k you still can make 10x gains in a few years!

which drones? flyin' ones? where to buy?

your S&P is about to crash hard, sorry not sorry

If you'd bought Amazon in the mid 90's when it was only $4 per share now you'd be worth a few million or so. So yeah. The only hope now for a quick buck, relatively speaking, is in the bio, med game. Get on the ground floor of some bio company and hope they make bank or get bought out.

If the s&p crashes all money crashes with it, including your worthless meme coins that have less real value than paper money and government bonds

I only invest in shovels

When it goes public, SpaceX

>please buy my bags... they'll they'll make you rich I promise
>bitcoin will destroy the banks any day now
>y-yes I know 99% of the volume is fake! The fundamentals are goOd
>please, please let me scam you so I can get out
>PLEASE

both of those things are just propped up by FOMO while S&P 500 is propped up by pretty much the entire US economy

boring company is going to be bigger

Carbios, european company developping tep plastic bio enzyme based depolymerization, essentially allowing to make plastic with plastic waste which would make recycling actually work. Loreal and Pepsico are already investing in it.

... and reach back to the same level 3 years after.

Why not both?
