Point 2. Along with a strong presence of fellow freetards here, we have always had a small but dedicated group of those on BSD and other Unix-like or plain Unix OSes (Solaris, OS X and Haiku, for example).
Point 3. As a result - until recently - use of Windows was highly frowned upon on Jow Forums. It is a completely proprietary, telemetry-laden, corporate OS, that has absolutely nothing to do with the world of Unix and Unix-like operating systems, and the company who developed said OS (Microsoft) has a long history of attacking and subverting free and open source software projects.
Point 4. With the exception of Windows, every OS I have mentioned, can and does natively run Unix and Unix-like tools. What you can do on LiGnux, you can do on BSD, you can do on Solaris, you can do on Haiku, you can do on OS X. All support bash and other Unix shells. All support the GNU core utils and so on. A Windows user must rely on virtualization and emulation to utilize these tools (WSL *is* a virtualization layer, BTW).
Point 5. Windows users and Microsoft shills have been inserting themselves into this board under various guises. They create threads bashing on MacFags, under the false premise that Windows is a superior choice to OS X (when the opposite is the true). They create threads attempting to dissuade us from using Unix and Unix-like OSes, promulgating false tropes like "repository slavery", and blatant lies about Windows being more secure and stable than LiGnux and related OSes.
Point 6. Not only should we be shunning these shills, but we should be reminding them at every corner, that Windows is the least free, least configurable, least privacy-respecting, and least resource-efficient OS on the planet, even compared to OS X (which is in actuality, mostly based on FOSS software).

You make some interesting points and all, and I agree that a few of them might be a part of some bigger plan, but most of them are just fags and trolls, knowing no better or simply trying to make the "freetards" angry. You can find tons of posts here (and on other boards) every day that can be summed up with "my shit's all retarded and you can't stop me (now gimme (You)s)" and it's not just about operating systems, but everything surrounding technology. even fringe things like the political aspects of tech companies.
It's mind-blowing how needy they are, they're reckless in their endeavors, their tempers are short even by Jow Forums standards and their ignorance is no better. They do prove entertaining, making threads that compare GPL to communism and 'Linux is too hard' blogposts that are structured not unlike the post I'm replying to right now, strangely.
