Fuck I want an old-looking flip phone for some reason.

I don't even like apple, I'm just a sucker for y2k/2000s industrial and graphic designs

It's pretty neat from what they've shown so far, plus the SDK is supposed to be open to anyone.
Only downside is thee price imo, doesn't really surprise me since it's a software company trying hardware, plus Teenage Engineering helped design it

This!

My phone does more than it, with a bigger screen and way more storage to do it, but my friend had one as a kid and I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Apple was cool back then, they were such underdogs in the market that they had to innovate and take risks in order to get noticed. For instance I think that OS X was comfortably ahead of Windows in terms of features (Spotlight, Expose, Spaces, etc.) for a while in the mid 2000s.

But the computers Apple makes now are shit. Removing valuable ports, soldering everything down, breaking keyboards, breaking display cables, gimmicky Touch Bar, it's all a bunch of shit. The reason being that Apple now is a behemoth and they can make shitty locked down products and people will still buy them. They're like Microsoft was in the 90s.

I mean MacBooks are still good in some ways, but the flaws really piss me off. I might go for a Windows laptop next time (probably dual booting with Ubuntu or something).

3D printer, audiophile headphones, new computer build, home cinema projector, list goes on.

1TB of RAM
I would never use more than 16GB, but the full TB beckons me like a sailor being drawn to the sea.

i've had a 8110 4g (black) for a couple of months.
i enjoy it a lot but my ear speaker just broke today and i'm not really sure where to find a replacement.

I'm not gonna buy them because even only a raspberry pi4 cost about 100$ with a decent sd card, a case, a power supply and its heat sink. Too much for a dust collector, but I want it.

What fucking resellers are you using?! You can cop one that has everything you mentioned for $60

I've always wanted something similar...

be honest bro
how fat are you

as a fat fuck (who is currently on a diet), i don't see what a fat dude would want with a fitness band (even in a novelty capacity).

Depends. Is being skinny, albeit with a large stomach considered fat? If so, reasonably fat.

Only slightly reasonable reason I want it would be to control my phone's music, honestly. I don't even do any exercise.

>raspberry pi4 4gb 60€
>128gb microsd relatively fast 22€
>case + power supply + heat sink 17€
Total price 99€ = 108$ (shipping excluded)

If you wanna spend less you have to buy the 2gb version, a shittier microsd and case, power supply and heat sink from china (and wait a month for it). The jetson nano you have to pay 99€ + shipping just for the board.

dude wtf r u me!!1!!!

mane those are nice

>no one posted PSP Go
Lame.

Holy fuck you use it to advance the image like in those old cameras. I want it

I've got an RPi 3 Model B, but I wish I had something a bit more powerful. The 1GB of RAM is fine for the first maybe 5 minutes of web browsing. Then it starts thrashing the swap file.

I spent yesterday compiling a hardware accelerated version of MPV for the Pi. I don't know why the guy who published the guide didn't simply release binaries but whatever. Takes an hour of compiling on the Pi. And you have to blow a fan at it constantly so it doesn't overheat. Also it didn't just compile MPV but hardware accelerated versions of FFmpeg, and I think LAME MP3, and some other dependencies.

It works very well, FAR better than the standard version of MPV on the Pi. So I'm glad I've got the Pi doing something useful now. I can stream something on that and just leave it in the background on a monitor while I do other stuff on my laptop.

But yeah, I wish I had more power and more RAM. The RPi 4 does look good. I checked and I think the 4GB is being sold for £55 in the UK ($66.52 USD), although that's probably without an SD card and all of that.

TinyPi Advance. Slightly larger than a RasPi Zero to accommodate the shoulder buttons in landscape format. The guy designing it hasn't posted any updates in some months, but he has shipped other designs before.

LEDs in my case

Namely, the TinyPi Pro, which is exactly the size of a Zero, but I'd prefer landscape over portrait.

too small, too much heat, embarrassingly bad design. It's like computer equivalent of child rape sitting on your desk.

Other options, though not as pleasingly tiny, are the Null 2, which even has a headphone jack, though is expensive since the main assembly kit is sold separately from the case, both ~$50

Shoutouts to Red Means Recording.

3d printer, though i may order the cr-10 this weekend

>embarrassingly bad design
It's just a low-end Mystic G4 with no PCI slots, it's not really terrible as a computer, just pointless in its time. Might as well go all the way on a Mystic or get an iMac if you care about space.

I don't see heat often cited as a problem with them either, I think some retards have even shoved dual 500 modules into them, I wouldn't mind one of those.

...and a chromatograph.

Even SGI Itanics are just boring shitnux crap that ran the same shit you could have on any regular PC, but they look very nice. I wish you could at least say that about the freetard abortions we have now like the Talos.

i cannot agree with this choice of material.

Hey now, some people out there can't afford ANY fingerbox, much less a good quality one. Don't be a fingerbox elitist.
