The 2019 Lenovo Thinkpad X390

It's 2019. $300 laptops have 1080p IPS displays. This should not be an option on a laptop that starts at over a grand.

You know what I can get for the same price of the base model X390? A Microsoft Surface 2 Laptop with a 3:2 2256 × 1504 display with a far better touchpad than the X390 and also get a larger SSD.

Why should anyone get a x390 again?

Don’t buy new Thinkpads and don’t buy Thinkpads new.

>Don’t buy new Thinkpads and don’t buy Thinkpads new.
I want a ryzen laptop.

There is nothing wrong with 1366x768.

Then get a X390 with a better display

X series aren't real Thinkpads.

I would agree with you on the e series, and maybe also on the l series, but don’t say that about the smol boys again!

How are they real Thinkpads?
They don't have the build quality and they don't have the features.
Just buy a Macbook air if you care about thinness.

>nothing wrong with 1366x768

I got higher res 18 years ago

Yeah, if you don't want a n 800x600 reolution, dual-core laptop for $1000 in 2019 then jist don't buy it.
Easy

X1, X1 Yoga, X1 Xtreme

Only ones worth buying.

The thing is, these things are usually used by corporations, and corporations usually have shitty old software that wasn't made with scaling in mind. You end up with software that looks awful or people complaining their software looks tiny.

Don't forget the X1 Extreme and P5*

>X200, X201, X220 aren't ThinkPads.
The fuck?

>A Microsoft Surface 2 Laptop
That one wont last for more than 2 years though

The sad thing is that it probably saves them 20 bucks max and they still spit in the face of ther customers. As if 16:9 wasn't bad enough. Even fucking Applel put better screens in their old Airs.

these are made for companys that use shitty software have you ever noticed doctors and emts usually use a think pad think pads are just slightly more rugged laptops for places that still use software that looks like some shit out of the 90s also why the fuck did you even bother looking at a new think pad the think pad meme is for older ones

Mouse buttons integrated into the trackpad is the way it should be done. Have you used the Force Touch trackpad? It makes nipples and mouses look like outdated toys from the last century.

>no real haptic feedback
>good

The stuff feels just like haptic feedback. Seriously try the shit, it's scary how well it works despite not actually moving a millimetre.

*sips*

Might as well just buy a fucking acer
They are made by the same chinks anyway

Chinkpads are shit. A business-grade laptop from a competing company is better than this plastic apple-tier cultist shit.
