Jew Printers

I'm tired of getting fucked in the ass by printer companies. what are the best printers that will work seamlessly with 3rd party CIS setups, or printers that work well with 3rd party ink-refills? Or are there any other tricks to printing cheaply at home?

try kyocera

Brothers do both, but used laser color printer are most of the time better.

Refurbished hp and 3rd party toner.

how new are you?

just tired of all this shit

me canse de ser buena onda

>must go back

1 throw out inkjet,

2 buy laserjet

problem solved, it's not that much money and the long term savings are tremendous

Ink is a racket, buy laser

don't even reply to that retard.

Brother laser printer.
$39 and the original toner cartridge is good for 2000+ pages
3rd party toners are $19 good for 4000+ pages.

What's wrong with pic related?

I have similar printer to one in this pic and I have yet to refill anything after 2000 pages.
What are your expectations exactly?

Imagine buying inkjet in 2019

Is not as bad as it used to be, but lasers also got better.

>using inkjet printer

I use HP printers since they offer great linux support.

Just disable the ink counter in settings to prevent it from reading the level of the ink.

There's also engineer modes for a lot of models that allow some pretty crazy settings.

I was going to go with a Brother but they require a binary blob that I download on their website where as hplip was already in debian repos.

>Jow Forumsshits who came here in 2016 at the earliest calling everyone sick of them new
Every time

Hey retard, are you well? Are you having a stroke?

Hey lads, I'm also interested about question OP asked.

What would be a good :
a) B&W laser printer
b) color laser printer

Things to consider :
Price
Ability to use third party toners
Works with Linux and Windows
Cable or Wi-Fi I don't really care

From your experience what would be best?
I don't care if I need to pay a bit more if the unit checks all the boxes.

To put things into perspective, I mostly need just B&W most of the time, something like 2k pages a month but sometimes I need color printing for reports and shit, let's say up to 8 times a month some 20 or so pages full color.

Any recommendations anons?

Who the fuck invents forced maintenance mode that voluntarily wastes ink so "it'll improve the quality of your print job by clearing out any air bubbles in the ink cartridge" was a good idea
Fuck HP never buy their shit

Ink dries and hardens retard, they do exaggerate on the maintenance periods though but leave your inkjet unplugged for 6 months and see what happens.
