Forget it. I liked the Mac when it seemed to be the only mainstream alternative to Windows, but now they're like some luxury product that I can't justify paying so much for.

Using macOS since years.
First i had Win7 Ultimate 64bit installed via Bootcamp and switched between them.
But after a while, i found the second screen being better supported under macOS.
Win7 gave you no possibilities to have different papes on each monitor. Let alone a function to have multiple desktops on each monitor.
macOS does all that flawlessly.
I finally switched over to macOS about half a year ago and i have not regretted it a single second.

I tried out Win10, but telemetry makes to be classified as a keylogger and trojan. Also ugly as fuck flatshit GUI raping everyones eyes.
I also tried out a bunch of bullshit loonix distros some shills worship here. But they all lacked one thing or another.

Well it's up to you, but I turned my PC into a hackintosh 2.5-ish years ago and I haven't had any real problems. To put things into perspective, this shit gave me wayyyyy less problems than linux did. And I have a MBP as well so i know what to compare the experience to. Who knows, I might've gotten lucky with my hardware.

This guy is just braindead. I've done hackintosh on a fucking ryzen 2700 just fine, and literally all it required was copying over a custom kernel mid way through installation.

I don't doubt it working well with a hackintosh, but the time you have to spend is at least in my case not worth the trouble and risk.
I read a lot about this topic and people had bricked their boards and graphics cards in the process and all other kind of stuff.
There are some risky things to do and if you have the luck that everything works nearly "out of the box" or at first try is sometimes not foreseeable.

Since i have my own company to deal with, which occupies me pretty much 16 hours a day and i also have a house and family with four kids to care about, i don't have simply said the nerves and spare time to fuck around with flashing bobos and GPU's.
I like stuff working out of the box, which my 27" iMac late 2013 does rocksolid since i bought it on sale for a comparably good bargain.

Sure, i mean it would be a fun project to deal with getting everything up and running, but as said, no time and no nerves.

Well, i'm upset with Apples shitty keyboard switches, i'm upset with their pricing politics, i'm upset about normies buying the overpriced stuff no matter how ripped off they get. But i still like the very concept of macOS and the overall package you get.

Workflow with it is fantastic and i can have a shit ton of programs open and never run out of space. I just scroll between the desktops i create on my two monitors.
Try to do that with Windows. You will end up buying a a several monitors you lack desk space for.

Using wired keyboard and mouse, have disabled Butooth but go with Wifi. My only wifi enabled devices is my android tablet which has GPS module disabled and is not even paired with my iMac. So is the case of my wifes android Smartphone.

What do you use them for? Honest question. I realized that I don't really use the function keys very often other than F12 and F5.

I use the escape key a lot. F11 is jump-to-definition in my editor. Quite a few keybinds that help me edit text, where I'd prefer not to have to look around at a fucking emoji touchbar to find.
