I don't think OpenSUSE has done any of the diversity stuff. If you want something really lightweight, then I can't recommend Antix enough. I'm currently using KDE Neon. The worst I can find about it this:

Does it really? I knew some of the devs were far left, but that's really frustrating. I'll probably keep using the distro, but if I find another lightweight, system-d free distro, I might switch. Do you have any suggestions? I'd be curious to try them the next time I want to play around with new distros.

Yeah, it's nice to see a software project that isn't crazy political. Have only been using Neon for a couple days, but so far I'm really enjoying it.

It's really nice. It's suitable for the inexperience and power user alike. It uses Systemd, so avoid SUSE if you dislike it. The distro itself is very well supported and updated by a large corporation (SUSE). KDE is the default DE, and they've got it setup to look pretty nice out of the box (assuming you like the color green.) It's definitely NOT a lightweight. It's comes preinstalled with a lot of (useful) software. For whatever reason, though, I absolutely cannot get it to install on my current hardware, but my hardware has never really played well with Linux. It was one of the first distros I tried, and the one that really got me hooked on Linux.

All Linux distributions are gay. For the least gay computer experience, just use Windows 7 with the “Classic” theme and a solid desktop background. Not a bright or flashy color, but a nice heterosexual teal.
