post aesthetic industrial design (hardware)
Industrial design
fugly.
I don't think industrial design means what you think it means.
these feel pretty out of place, otherwise good thread
how the fuck is that vaio not the definition of top tier industrial design?
the vaio in the OP is a good example of it, these ones look like smooth cheap modern apple garbage, especially the orange one
you're faggot and the orange one is identical besides the color. the tiny vaio has the same design language as the one in the OP, it's just way smaller.
looks like shit though
you are entitled to your wrong opinion, that's okay ;^)
>industrial design
>consumer electronics
yall missin the true primo design standard
late 90's japanese cnc machines
>old ugly is good
fuck off hipster
just pure functional design
absolutely no flair
fun fact, some of these mori's from the mid 90's all ran Solaris on SPARC based systems
for ultimate comfy
i really miss my job
My first smartphone, the original Droid
Almost every HP calculator is iconic.
I see Sony was ahead of the curve on the dongle future.
post the large recording shit too. i forgot its name.
That tv tuner tho
>back of the camera
wtf, then how did they take the photo?
only competitor to Sony was IBM with their thinkpads
and panasonic with their toughpads?
s/pad/book/
Shit, this is like porn for me. Post more please.

wtf why haven't I seen this shit before and why cant we have nice things now
arrangement of mirrors
>calling anyone else a hipster in a thread about jacking off to impractical old shitty computers that nobody wanted even when they were new
Too bad these are all like $700 on eBay now
Why the fuck can’t they make these again
Tape is a fucking great medium for voice notes and shit
Industrial, yet clean
beautiful thing ruined by euro-style Enter key
sigh @ old computers
the monitor stand looks quite retarded otherwise it's very nice, i don't understand why they don't make technology in silver anymore, it was such a nice color, all we have now is nigger-coloured tech
Absolutely aesthetic.
And also horrendously expensive.
x220 would be most based machine if it had lid latch.
Would i be retarded to buy one for 300 dollars
Why does this look good?
If it had something like i3 or core m (or whatever replaced them), pen and touch screen I'd gladly buy that. That's the direction small tablets and laptops should have taken rather than thin but still pointlessly big 15" overheating bad keyboard gray npc books.
I had one from 2005-2009 when I was in college. People had never seen a laptop so small. They thought it was from the future or some shit lol. I sold it for 900 on eBay, and bought it for 700 on eBay. Yes, it went up 200 dollars in 3 years time. Now I regret selling it...
Normies need their touchpad.
normies prefer touchscreen desu
>euro-style Enter key
the superior enter key and most practical
the last good thing Apple ever made.
>click webm
ipfs: video streaming is not allowed
Is this real?
Only now, 15 year ago I hoarded them for pennies.

I have one of those in my work lab and nobody has turned it on for years.
you have one of those or a G5? also it depends on how outdated and low tier the hardware inside is.
>no etc in this thread
somehow not surprising
Wtf, I want This now
I have those, and they are beautiful.
Pretty sure it's a sandy/ivy Xeon, the last good model before they turned it into the garbage bin.
>his keyboard has ligatures
Liga ballsack
What model is this?
Where are they?
Apple still makes silver shit.
Exactly.
I forgot about that.

Orange is the best color for backlight lcd screens.
DEBATE ME
doesn't load the file.
yeah but their products are shit and look too new
701C
Certainly better than blue.
The Mopar version that I posted? I'm surprised. They're very, very rare. SSK's are rare enough on their own but the Mopar Industrial ones go for like 1000 dollars.
Tamiko Thiel's design of the Connection Machine, the first massively parallel supercomputer back in the 80s, is about as aesthetic as it gets.
"My God, it's full of lights..."
Hmmm...perfection
Industrial design includes the design of good that can be produced by industry, not just "industrial-looking stuff".
how the fuck do you even read this
are you by chance a fucking retard?
its 09:38, not that hard to figure out
bullshit
