It's almost 2020. Where are the reasonably priced, good quality, 2160p ips monitors?
Why are we still stuck with 1080p? Shouldn't 2160p be the standard by now?

No, 1080p just became standard. 1440p and 4K are currently premium shit.
You can pick up 42 inch 4k hdr TVs now for $230.
He said monitors, though.
someone post the 1366x768 meme
Graphics cards haven't caught up yet.
human eye can't see a difference over 1080p unless you have a 40 inches monitor but why would you need one that big
bought an 1080p monitor 5 years ago for the same price one costs today. somethings going on
use the tv as a monitor
thats retarded
1366x768 master race
tvs generally have a larger latency than monitors.
TVs generally have shit latency, hence them primarily being used for noninteractive media.
That's tiny, user.
It's passable for 12"
>windows
Kauf dir einen neuen Monitor.
It's a small thinkpad, and the only upgrade would cost more than 100€
Maybe I'll do it if this screen breaks
if tvs have bad latency why do most of us use it for console gaming?
> person concerned about air-quality is able to afford a better monitor than you
do you live in a 4th world country?
can you guys use bigger fonts or quit typing like babies?
>Why are we still stuck with 1080p?
Because current generation of GPUs are stressed to first of all push those higher resolutions, forget all else. Not sure where you can even buy a 2160p monitor either.

Truly nostalgic times
There are excellent cheap 1440p monitors.
Because children don't know any better.
Humane brain cannot apprehend more then 60 decibels per second of screen pixel resolution anyway
must be nice being legally blind. how much money did you save on monitors?
