What's the hd600 of iems?

Trading my Klipsch HP-3 for AKG K812, what am I in for?
I completely forgot the K812 existed, but it seems to be fairly well-regarded.

Is it bad or do you already have something that does the same thing but better?

>k812
Enjoy learning the hard way.
What IEM has its sound signature the closest to Porta Pros? By that I mean
>warm, slightly bassy
>forgiving to bad/old recordings
>easy to drive
>comfy, not fatiguing
>$100 max
>what am I in for?
I dunno man that really looks shit for something with a 800 bucks pricetag.
They sound very similar to my Z1Rs, but not quite as good.
>perceived frequency response
If you're going to measure something, why not use an objective measurement, not a subjective one?
HD58X are matched impeccably. Even randomly picked serial numbers from different factories.
If the HD650 can be modded to improve its sound significantly, can the same thing be done with the HD800?
>incel
Why you faggots exist
Consider intercourse, involuntary celibate
Yes but you really need to be sophisticated about it
I think simple SDR mod, rug liner and Dekoni leather pads can already improve the sound of the HD800 significantly.
So you are just a normalfag? And it's abbreviation for it?
My bad, bro. Can you say that again? My ESL comprehension isn't up to snuff yet
Sorry, I meant "Consider intercourse, involuntary celibate" is abbreviation for "incel"?
What changes? How does it sound?
Nah, I was telling you to have sex, incel. Didn't want to say the exact line, tho. Wouldn't want to cause repetition or anything
>SDR mod
Eliminate 6kHz peak.
>Rug liner
Reduce reflections in the earcup cavity, bring forward the mids (same principle as the HD650).
>Dekoni leather pad
Improve bass.
>>Dekoni leather pad
>Improve bass.
But it losses its spaciousness and sound stage greatly, right?
Incel is short for involuntary celibate if that's what you're asking tho, my man
Indeed but the result is a more focused sound and precise headstage.
So my another question is: This 2018-17 meme, you spouting, you saying it ironically or unironically? Do you believe that you are cooler for fucking some 3dpd slut?
lame, terrible addition for the mod, rug and SDR is enough for modding.
You saying you can't even tell, bro? Yeesh, don't even bother replying to me again

Just this thread, bro. Wait for the next thread, it's going to be sick, trust me
Are there Bluetooth headphones that perform at the level of a ATH-MSR7? Was peeping those but not having a cable would be nice.
>Bluetooth headphones that perform at the level of a ATH-MSR7?
Never ever since they are all shit
if this doesn't sound good on your end youtube.com
no amount of high end audio equipment will make shitty music sound good
Thought on the 660 S?
Zshill and his fags claim that they are as good as Stax. InnerFidelity on the other hand, thinks they are shit compared to its predecessors.
How are the HE400i for orchestral music, like soundtracks, and with lots of female vocals?
Currently $179 on amazon, I'm between this or the 702's
are audiophiles are autistic?
Better than 650, yet still worse than HD600 and expensive as fuck.
Only the losers who call themselves audiophiles
A decent no-amp alternative to HD600/650. Sadly the price difference buys you a good amp+dac combo. For no amp, get HD58x.
With an amp, hd600 is better.
Fuck off cancer
Are these worth it? I'm looking for something reasonably affordable
>tfw don't have to wear baldheissers anymore
>tfw I just connected the dots on this meme
Oic
Bro please if you have to suck hifiman dick let it be the Ananda, that one at least feels more solid than the Arya. Not that both are going to last long anyways.
The one headphone were burn in actually works. I compared it to the 58X then I burned them in for 2 days on my smartphone with a pink noise generator app. After that they actually sounded fine the treble has calmed down and the lows got more pronounced.
Please don't. You really can't get better than The HP-3, it's one of the top dogs. K812 is actually worse than the cheaper K712pro.
What rug liner material is that?
Shure SRH 940 or Senn HD 599 ?
Khadas tone board or Audioquest Dragonfly (blue version)?
anyone feel the clamp on the hd600 too tight? I know my head is huge, but other headphones like my dt770, dt880, and akg k7xx all feel fine. Why is that?
You get used to it like i got used to 650
Holy fucking shit Chinks are subhuman. There is literally no telling which if any of these is the newest version of Takstar 82s, does anyone know?
amazon.co.uk
amazon.co.uk
I know these are the newest but chink support is probably shit and the price is shit too. Btw how nice that they don't write their manufacturer reference number on their own fucking webstore. Fucking retards aliexpress.com
>That filename
Clamp force is a well known problem people have with the 600 series, pretty much every reviever complained about it. I don't get it, i actually like that they clamp it means that they don't slide off my head at any given moment like the my X2's for example and it's not uncomfortable for me at all...and I'm bald so no hair cushioning for me.
I know there's two rev of the Pro 82 but I don't recall what the differences are, probably nothing to get too worked up over considering it's a 50 bucks pair of chink headphone pair.
You'll just have to grab one and see if it's the one you want.
well.... that is sad to hear. Guess there is some kind of break in period for these headphones I need to get past.

>clean highs and nice detail, no sibilance
>Grado SR60i, Sennheiser HD598, Etymotic Research ER3SE
Demoed a pair of Grado SR325e but they were a bit harsh and sibilant in some songs even at modest volume.
My ER3SE sound very nice, if I could find something similar in an open can with more sound stage and nice details. Cannot be fatiguing though, both sonically and physically should be able to listen for hours.
Arya is more neutral and a better all-rounder than the Ananda.
Thought on the akg 702?
Really? I had the chance to demo both of them but it's been a few months now and I perceived the Ananda as the flatter one simply because the highs were a bit softer. The Arya is a bit harsher but also more detailed. Low end was about the same if my memory serves me right.
Yeah my assumptions were correct the Arya is brighter than the Ananda, it's a bit weaker in the low end. The Ananda seems better balanced overall.
imagine using your headphones for something as pedestrian as listening to music
That 2k peak needs some eq as it sounds rather metallic with it, after that it's fine but the 58X is better buy if you live in the US. The K702 is one of the mid-fi kings, it's a relatively safe buy it had the time to prove itself over the years.
Nice, hope it also has that same beryllium meme bass from the RBH HP-2
You really only need the SDR mod and eq to alleviate the brightness and ringing as well as adding more sub bass. If you can change your DAC filter too, a slow or NOS filter further reduces the ringing.

Which headphones are the CAL! of 2019?
Is the cable that runs inside the headband connecting the two ear cups the same as your ordinary 3.5mm aux cable?
Alright thanks
Can I just pair it with the hifime 40$ dac ?
Pair it with whatever you want

Creative Aurvana Live, a bunch of shitty Sony over-ears
Bottom line is, I want something like Creative Aurvana Live but better. Help me out.
Where can I get short cables with 90 degrees jack for my HD600?
All the cables on Amazon and chinkexpress are way too long.
OPPO PM-3
Thoughts?
Sauter them yourself
You can still get the RBH HP-2 it got rebranded into the HaaFee HD1 and the Urbanfun Transound 1 or TS1 in short

DT 770 - 80 ohm
Senn HD 300
I already have one actually and outside of the murderous treble it's pretty nice for the price like a DT770 except it doesn't shit itself if you EQ moar bass into it.
But the Sivga just looks nice and is cheap so had to get it too.
