Yeah, it's a little discouraging to see how much people just don't care about the Jow Forums threads anymore.
Sad to say that d*scord does destroy sub-communities, and /gomfy/ is a victim of that too.
It's a little challenging to prevent them from just becoming blog threads but discussion of anything is really the best part about them.

Yeah. Have you heard about the Hudson River School? It was an art movement during the 19th century that depicted the Hudson River Valley and surrounding areas at first, but after Thomas Cole's death people used the general style to paint other areas in New England, the American West, and South America.
A lot of absolutely amazing paintaings came from this era, including pic related. This one's by Frederic Edwin Church and is of Niagara Falls, as if the filename wasn't enough to reveal that.
