actually it's other way around, turks are mixed with greeks, armenians, kurds, arabs and slavs. Original turks were slanty eyed gooks from steppe.

Greece is in the Mediterranean, so there have always been swarthy types, but they are not mixed with Middle Easterners. That’s what the native population looks like, if anything there was mixing to the East.
