I don't know how many of you recall this, but I used to bang my neighbor about a year ago. Super fun times. At the time I got a job, she got committed into a ward of sorts after almost killing herself in a drunken stupor She did end up getting a boyfriend (weak) in said ward and ended up getting back into her heavy drinking.
Fast forward a year later, about a week ago. She ended up stabbing her boyfriend and is currently in jail on assault charges. She's getting evicted, so is the boyfriend. Problem, he's missing, and he knows where I live and work
He also knows I'm the one tipping off the super for the smoking, pet owning, and all around no rent paying. Other than sleeping with a knife, what the FUCK am I going to do?

Another thing: when you’re out and about, remain vigilant. If this guy is really out to get you and he decides he can’t get you at home or work, he’ll try when you’re in transit. Remain aware of your surroundings when possible and don’t go anywhere unarmed, even if it’s just a knife.

How about we start by clearing out the paranoia? Having sex a year ago with his now ex-girlfriend when they possibly didn't even know each other back, then isn't a very important motive. You could've put some beef between you in the spirit of being neighbors but how the heck is that a reason to fear for your life? Just because he was sleeping with a crazy ready to stab him doesn't mean he's stupid enough to hunt down some extras' random of his life's perspective. It's kind of sucky he didn't catch you off-guard in the liquor shop you are working at, because it could've clear up bunch of your thoughts regarding this case. Not like he would freakin' assault you around other people - tell me, was he a regular customer around there before? If not, then what's more likely - that he was looking for you to learn your shifts or that he just wanted to buy liquor, even talk to you perhaps. You seem to live in some nasty environment but I doubt it's that bad, Shelby.
