How much of your country have you actually visited?
How much of your country have you actually visited?
These states
Impressive. It must be nice to live in a big country and actually travel it.
I would like to make more road-trips, but...
More than what I wanted to
It's shit all around
I haven't visited the peninsulas, Sinaloa, Tabasco, Colima and Durango and Nayarit
I remember when we made a north road-trip with my family
Before the war that is
Not much. Im from Southern Québec and haven't even been north of Saguenay or east of Rimouski.
I've been a few times to Ontario, the further was North Bay or Niagara Falls/Toronto. Ive crossed once in New Brunswick just to claim I had crossed.
I'd like to roadtrip all the way to Pacific coast in BC and also see Yukon but I am not in a hurry to do it
Is it true that roads immediately become shit when you cross from Panama to Costa Rica?
Is this Ciudad de Mexico in the middle that you have never been? What is your home state?
Why haven't you been to Germanic South Brazil?
northeast is a shithole but i still love it
são paulo is nice
rio is shit
south has funny accents
Nah, that's Aguascalientes.
Also, I'm from Durango.
B-but what? Time or personal stuff?
All the provinces except PEI. No territories.
Roads in Costa Rica are definitely a step down from Panama. But I think they are becoming better. Their Pan-American highway still is mostly one lane for each direction, tho.
It's mostly shit.
It's not as easy these days, first because I don't have that many vacations, and second because it's become more of a hassle ever since the Drug War started. Military checkpoints, and some places are not as safe.
I get that. I 've gone to Darien (the yellow province to the east here ) Only once. The road was practically new up to Yviza (the last frontier or Panamanian roads) and I had never been to that province so we went. Entering the province the was a SENAFRONT checkpoint. The guy was dress like some sort of paramilitary and he adviced my father to not leave the vehicle. There were at least 5 more checkpoints before we made it to Yaviza.
Never had a reason to go there, 0 family there and my family never wanted to visit any place in the region, so far from here too
Green: Home
Blue: Visited departments
dis
>SENAFRONT
lmao thats because theyre the ones who move the drugq
Blue: been there
You mean that they are corrupt?
always assume the worst of people with power
I would not be surprised.
Btw. Do your map, pls.
Nearly every important city at least once. Spent almost no time in the north tho, basically a pass by Novi Sad
Is that map accurate? For Panama, it has some minor errors. But I heard that it is all wrong in Europe.
us, mexico, spain and france seem to be alright
And Texas is cheating massively, since I've only been to Dallas/San Antonio/Houston.
green = overnighted in/explored
yellow = passed through
red = never visited
Green is home state
Blue is states I've visited.
surprisingly little. I have only been to the Hague and Rotterdam once, Amsterdam twice. I haven't visited half the provinces.
Also I've been living here for whole my life.
nice try, fbi
just want the flags for my map, i promise!
not today cia
you already have it
home in blue, visited in red
did you take a plane for asturias and galicia?
isnt that like just a 4 hours drive?
enjoy my rare flag then
RIP
nice
>isnt that like just a 4 hours drive?
>4 hours drive
kek
Barcelona to Madrid is 6 hours by car (fortunately you can now do it in 2 and a half hours by train, once I went by bus and it took 8 hours)
To go from Barcelona to Asturias it would take more than 9 hours, and to Galicia like 12...
so yes, I took a plane
interesting, i had the notion that spain was smaller
it's actually the third largest in Europe after Ukraine and France (and not counting Russia)
12 hours is what it takes you from Durango to Mexico City, it's about 1000 km
Once a year I like to take a long road trip across the country and visit family and friends.
I have a goal of visiting every county in the US.
This map is a rough copy of one I started in 2002
What do you like about the northeast?
The Yuro part almost completely
Caribbean part not yet
>I have never gone west of the Appalachian Mountains
>I have never gone more north than New York
>The farthest south i’ve been is Washington D.C.
Feelsbadman
Let me guess... do you live in PA, NJ, or DE?
I’m in one of the three.
it'll be really cool if you got extraflags and shared those trips
i thought it was like 1.7 times my state, but i just did the calculations and it turns out its 2.8 times the size lol
Pretty much everywhere in the South Island. All the big cities in the North Island, but I've only road tripped through the centre, so haven't done much of the East coast and none of the West coast.
I live in California.
How long does it take to go from, say, London to Edinburgh? Do you typically drive or take a train?
Blue for home state
Green states I stayed more than 24-hours in
Yellow states I drove through
>NY
KYS Yankee.
also toronto and quebec
not including states where ive been to just an airport
and I'm going to visit my sister in the Caymen islands soon
really want to travel in europe, or transsiberian railroad sometime in my life
...
all of it except for 2 counties in Moldavia
not that much
most of it is empty anyway
>Latin School trip to Lugo and Merida (Lucus Augusta and Augusta Emerita)
>History school trip to Seville
>School trip and family visits to Madrid
>Visited Portugal many many times (Tui, Braga, O Porto, Lisboa...)
>most people I know havnt ever left my home state, usually vacationing in one of the red circles
and it takes forever to go anywhere west of lake michigan, unless you fly
you gotta decide between 3 hour traffic jams around chicago, or 100+ mile detour through a deer filled, 0 cellphone coverage U.P.
food, culture and music
i'm glad i was born here desu
