What happens here?

Tell me about Minnesota. Is it a flyover state? Is it worth visiting? What are some interesting things about it?

It's the least "flyover" flyover state. Nature is good, everything else LA or NY do it better.

there needed to be a city closer than chicago for a lot of farmers, so minneapolis became a big city
it's a ok place to live, but other than forests, lakes and corn fields there's isn't much
it's where they resettle a bunch of somalis

>Minnesota population 5.6 million
>"Flyover State"

If Minnesota were in Canada it would be our third largest province (by population). Feels kinda bad tbqh.

>most swedes
>most somalis
Whats the deal with swedes and somalis? Is it genetic

flyover state is a meme, all states have cool things to see. Except maybe Iowa

Swedish women are naturally drawn to Somalian cock and vice versa.

tbqh, I think it is.

Tell me about the grand sights you can visit in Nebraska

Is minneapolis interesting? Any landmarks?

You would be better off asking a forum like city-data( or even leddit ) than here because most American posters are either suburban flyovers in the Shitwest or cityslickers from the coasts, especially LA.

some nice rap comes from there

They have a lot of people of Scandinavian ancestry and imported Somalis in recent years.

It gets better. To the northeast across the lake is Michigan's Upper Penninsula which has a lot of Americans of Finnish descent.

best zoo in the country and that's about it

It is a flyover but they have nice nature and is probably the best state to live if you arent rich t.b.h.

What do the numbers on the states represent? Yearly rent?

How does it compare to Michigan and Wisconsin?

GDP per capita.

I don't think that's accurate.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_by_GDP_per_capita

I wish that were true for North Dakota though.

It is the notorious PPP. They first take the actual GDP and then suddenly look at local pricelevels.

GDP per capita PPP, supposed to changed GDP per capita by the purchasing power in each state to deal with disparities in costs of living in each state. Shows that the south and rust belt truly is a shithole and the rest is doing pretty well.

How does Mississippi have beautiful nature?

>cityslickers
t. great-grandpa user

But Tennessee doesn't have beautiful nature? Have you seen Appalachia?

Also if you consider Swamps beautiful, why didn't you include Florida?

should i go to minnesota?

I'm an italian with brown eyes from nyc.

honestly im from the west coast so I may be wrong about a few things.

Oh I thought the 5 at the start of minnesota’s number was a dollar sign and was confused.

nothing to do here desu. big city folk like yourself would be bored stiff. you're better off staying in nyc.

the city sucks cock. That's why I want to leave.

I don't leave my house anyway.

Go upstate

i already did 4 years ago.

Minnesota isn't any better. You live in the most desirable city in the world and you hate it. Ever considered that the city isn't the problem?

did Minnesota really have that many Swedish immigrants? most Swedes that immigrated here were urban-dwelling industrial workers weren't they? were they overflow from Chicago?

why do people shit on the midwest when it is so much better than the south?

new york is shit. Trust me. Smells like piss all over the place, homeless people everywhere, non whites everywhere, etc.

There's a reason why I never go outside.

You can always go to South FL like retirees. At least, the weather is better

>humid state full of niggers, schizos, spics and boomers

No thanks.

>nice nature
Good for hunting and fishing exclusively.
Hot, humid, and infested with mosquitoes and deerflies in the summer.
Bitter cold winter.
Spring and fall last a few weeks max.

>>>google

I will never understand why everyone shits on the Midwest and Ohio in particular. Sure, all our cities are shit but rural Midwest is lovely and quiet and wholesome.

>Ohio
Somehow this state comes up as the most bland state ever, even compared to other Midwestern states

Minnesotafag here. I like MN because it's a good mix of urban environments and natural ones. The Twin Cities feel a lot less crowded and hostile than a lot of our larger cities, but still have a lot to offer. Lots of good places to eat, and a great microbrewing scene. It's also an added bonus that our harsh winter keeps most transients out of our state.

That said, if you want to come here, I strongly recommend checking out the old Great Lakes port town of Duluth, as well as the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

There’s a ton to do here. Minnesota is superior to all other states, don’t come here. Somalis, Mexis and regular blacks are destroying everything.

>wholesome
