Also just so people understand, I'm not talking about selling solar; SaaS sales for a tech company is pretty much the most lax job in the world, you just throw around a bunch of engineering terms and talk about "muh value proposition"and make 80k+ a year if you aren't a complete sperg and actually hit your OTE's. Also I get 6 weeks PTO, and travel all around the world for work purposes.

Shit requires no degree, just have to be able to talk to people and prove you're a hard worker who's willing to learn.

Depends on the kind of sales you want to get into, I highly recommend either software sale or medical sales(either devices or pharmaceuticals) . These make the most money, tend to have the youngest people involved, and are much better than selling used cars or phonebooks or some shit.

I started out working at a restaurant as a waiter and made the argument to a company that worked in the distribution of a specific consumer good that I'd be great at sales due to my previous experience as a waiter. I interned there in college for a year as a sales support intern, and then got hired full time while still in school as an analyst for a sales team at a marketing company. From there I used my customer/analytical experience coupled with my engineering background from university to get a job as a sales engineer.

That's just one story and you can see it's not a linear path as far as experience is concerned, you have to know how to convey that you're capable of doing the job by being able to reflect on your previous experience.

As far as finding jobs, LinkedIn jobs in major cities for entry level positions in the Computer Software/Internet/Medical industries.

some people do benefit from higher education (stem, doctors, a small percentage of chemist, lawyers, biologists) but the vast majority of retards going to unis and colleges are only wasting their time, parent money, getting themselves into massive debts and the only thing they achieve is lining nosebergs pockets with money.
i would argue ~90% of students are like that. for them going to trades or straight into workforce would be thousands of times better.

I made 18k/year after college with an engenering degree here in Spain. 55K/year is what seniors with 20 years of experience in a very qualified field get here, so stop complaing faggot.

The number is not that bad unless I also mention I live in Argentina, even though our wages are "high" our purchase power is really shitty because all the fucking taxes we have to pay. For example with 8k I would not even be able to love by myself in this shithole.
