I'm surprised Germanic people don't use derivative of Ettin (known as Jotun in Scandinavia) instead of "giant", those were different mythological creatures. For me, once I learned the basic stuff, like æ=ä, ǿ=ö, kk=ck and some basic non-immediately guessable vocabulary, like "akkurat", "vanskelig", "morsom" etc. reading Bokmål became very easy. It also helps that Norwegians seem more inclined to be concise, whereas Swedes at times prefer a rather lengthy and detailed language, I mean just look at this fucking text.

It depeneds whether you count Caucasus as Europe or Asia. Some do count it as Europe, others say only like Chechnya is European.
Caucasus, with all the langauges here, even have it's own mini-Caucasus - Dagestan. There is no leading nationality in Dagestan, all speak different languages, like 27 nations.
