I grew up in an upper-middle class family and was libertarian as a teenager and even into my 20's. Now I am 30 and I have realized that I will likely never be financially successful, so I am leaning more socialist.

One thing I sometimes think about is that it's too simple to say that people who supporing jewish genocide were evil. Because it depends on what basis they use to support the genocide. If you actually believe jews rule the world and oppress everyone else, then, morally speaking, there is nothing wrong to kill all jews. You can criticize the factual basis, because it's not true, jews do not rule the world and oppress everyone else, but if you believe this, you are morally in the right when you try to kill them all, even by modern standards.
You can't simply say that someone is morally wrong just because they want to kill all jews, you also need to understand their beliefs, because their wish for genocide may be based on a mistaken belief that makes this desire morally justified.
