There's a huge Poblano diaspora in New York, and there are communities of Jalisquillos, Guerrerenses, Zacatecanos and Duranguenses, etc. in the US, to the point "pasito Duranguense" was created in Chicago. Almost all states, including the North, have huge diaspora there. The only exceptions are Yucatán and Mexico City.

Everything "Jarocho" (from Veracruz) is heavily influenced by African roots. And that's a good thing, because Jarocho music is breddy nice. The people in the coasts of Veracruz can also be very mixed with black, and they are proud of it.

Guerrero has them too. Vicente Guerrero, the afro-Mexican president and independence hero from whom they take their name, was from there, obviously. But Veracruz is more black, on all senses.
