The soviets actually allied themselves with the Axis, moron. But the war was inevitable geopolitically anyway. Axis and Soviet Union had only one purpose: to remove anglo influence from Eurasia. They needed to neutralize Poland and France to achieve that. When it finally happened, the war in Eurasia for power became inevitable. If Third Reich didn't attack Soviet Union, then Soviet Union would attack Third Reich

Soviets were allies of the Axis, though, you dumb monkey, and Ribbentrop-Molotov pact was only a first stafe of this alliance, whose basis was partition of whole Eurasia between two powers : Soviet Union and Third Reich. Later on, they signed a lot of other documents about military and economical cooperation. Russian trains full of natural resources were going to Third Reich undisturbed even in first days of German attack on Soviet Union in 1941
