You're confusing your stereotypes. The "enlightned globalist world citizen" type is generally anti-culture and only into languages at a very superficial level (e.g. for shit like the song Despacito). They're the kind who would be more than happy seeing the entire planet just become one homogenous consumerist amerimutt-tier mass with a starbucks on every corner of the world and every person only speak English (with a Valley Girl accent, to boot); so long as they get to go on their "vacations" to Western-style resorts in random places for instagram attention, they're happy.
