If you can handle overcast for most of the year then you'll be fine. Also it's hard to make friends there because it's Finland tier antisocial. The nature is 10/10 though and the job market is really nice. there's lots of art hoes there too if that's your thing.

There are still a lot of fat people along the west coast but there is a strong health and fitness culture among the people. The fat people here are fat due to choice more so rather than ignorance.

Sac was a violent ghetto from the 80s to the early 2000s. The whole greater Sac area had active gangs. I grew up here in the suburbs in that period. I love the nature here but the housing prices and traffic jams make me want to off myself. There is also lots of crime outside of the wealthy areas.
The SJWs are really not that big of a deal to be honest as long as you avoid pride parades etc.
