I have a business/startup idea. I'm only 18 though so I don't really know where to start or how to contact businesses and meet with them or how this whole business thing works(managing it, setting it up, pitching to investors?).
The partners would be businesses that would benefit from the app in the form of more users/clients and it really won't cost them anything. The "only" thing in return I would ask them to briefly include my app in their advertisements so the app would gain popularity.
The initial cost is very low I think. Like a UI designer for the app, then I would need to connect the app to businesses databases or build my own database(currently the demo app is connected to a MySQL database).
Maybe it's better to try to get an investor who would become a partner as well who basically mentors me or something? Like I have the "vision" of how the app/idea should be, but no experience I guess.
Ok Mr. Idea Man if you actually have a meaningful idea AND plan you're going to have to go to an incubator and find a Jewish partner to become 50/50 partners and then dilute YOUR shares only to progress your idea. You will end up with about 20% equity in the end and you will be doing 80% of the real work.
There's a reason most tech entrepreneurs start with fake useless ideas to get their feet wet, take the companies to zero, THEN go forward with their real ideas once they have experience.

I don't know then. I'll read some business books so maybe I'll get a clearer picture and can skip the jew part.
Alexander Long
The jew part is unskippable unless you already have a shitload of money which I assume you don't
Andrew Hill
nobody is going to give you money unless you already know somebody who will The best way to learn is to try (and fail) a few times Odds are you will fail badly the first time so don't get discouraged, just do it
Colton Perry
With all due respect, this is some YouTube tier advice.
John Gutierrez
you're the dumb 18 yo nigger with a database integration idea that has no legs but tell me again how my real world advice is YouTube tier you ungrateful fuck t. serial entrepreneur

I haven't even told you anything about my idea. As far as money goes, that's not the biggest problem since the starting cost is low.
Your advice is even worse than YouTube tier. It's fucking boomer tier "just work hard". Next thing you're gonna tell me is that it requires persistence, strong will, never giving up right? Throw some motivational quotes in as well.
>t. serial entrepreneur Is that you Tai Lopez?
Josiah Mitchell
What kind of apps? Also how do you first contact a business/potential partner to arrange a meeting or so? Do you email the support who then redirects you to the right guy or how does it work?

All kinds. I don’t deal with businesses. Ask better questions.
Wyatt Wright
I have nothing to ask then.
Asher Watson
Do you even know how to develop the app or do you 'just have an idea bro'
Ian Wright
so then pick up the phone and make some calls pussy
Cooper Harris
Ok peace out wagies.
Tyler Brooks
I currently have the demo app developed. Basically would need a UI designer or design it myself and then connect to businesses/partners databases.
Landon Clark
What does your app do actually?
Evan Watson
there's no skip button, sorry
Mason Young
Makes something a lot simpler.
Alexander Allen
...
Juan Gray
a lot of things make "something a lot simpler", be more specific

Gonna be honest here.
There is a lot of survivorship bias out there. You're 18 an you have a great idea, but you have no experience.
I would recommend working for a bit to get professional experience and some lessons in business before you burn yourself out.
