do you know what happened after the last crash ten years ago you young whippersnapper?

Metal crashed with the markets and the dollar went up? I remeber

silver got destroyed during the 2008 meltdown. $20-$10

yeah then what happened after a couple years my sweeties?

>u-uh..I didn't mean...the thing...I specifically mentioned...
>I meant the other thing

Boomer cope

metals drastically under performed stocks and continue to drop to this day

nobody read the question right...
>what happened AFTER the crash
did I ever compare stocks to metals you mental midget?

Silver will probably break out one of these days. It is enough that one tiny nation decides it is gonna back its currency up by it.

It's a smart move to have a stash of silver laying around. It will always have value in the event of societal breakdown.

I was buying Silver when I knew about BTC, I should buy metal metals now

>People do this?
>silver exhibits the highest electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and reflectivity of any metal
As technology advances we're sure to find ways to exploit these properties. Demand will rise, but who the fucks knows when that's going to happen.

Sorry your metal investments went to shit dumb doomsday bitch
Better luck next time

It's carving out the same pattern like litecoin did two years ago.
My high risk / massive reward play is bayhorse silver.

silver mines are depleted and people do not recycle silver from electronic waste

silve has under performed almost any other asset class since the 2008/2009 lows. yeah there was a bubble/crash in 2011 in which it has since lost 2/3s of its price.

>It underperformed everything for ten years
> now is a bad time to buy.

Gee, I guess I should have bought ten years ago!

I can think of so many BONDS that are better buy than silver
youre retarded
stay poor faggot. Have fun when your silver breaksdown to 15

You guys do realize your gpus and btc miners need silver to function right?

yes please keep shilling silver, I bought like 100k worth of gold and silver in 2011 and I'm down like 50% in 7 years. if I had bought bitcoin instead (and I fucking owned a little and knew about it in 2011) I would be richer than Roger Ver

>stay poor

mfw, literal 29 year old boomer millionaire.
Ok, buddy

Silver is one of the most heavily manipulated markets on the planet.

This is a good example of a complete fucking retard. There is a surplus of precious metals used for industrial purposes. Apple is not going to be buying your silver and gold to make cell phones with.

ahaha
/biz does'nt buy only shitcoins high

things investor shouldn't do:
- going all in one thing
- hodl
- buy high when fomo, sell low when panic
things Jow Forums do:
- going all in one thing
- hodl
- buy high when fomo, sell low when panic

Silver is the best metal for windings on electric motors. Copper is usually used because it has like 95% the performance of silver for a fraction of the price. I build racing quadcopters. The best motors are starting to use silver windings because people will pay more for that few % better performance.

But in most applications it is just cheaper to use a bigger motor and use copper if you need more power. Quadcopters is one of the few places silver makes sense because a bigger motor weighs more. Silver lets you get more power from a smaller motor which is important in an aircraft.

Bet you it hits 20 in 18 months and then goes sideways till election night.

See

How much silver for how big of a quadcopter?

>buy X because it's used for things!
lmao
the most childish and myopic reasoning I'll ever hear on this board, yet it happens every single day

Nice catch

You could've bought it at any time, but you decided to buy right after a pump. Nobody to blame but yourself.
