What's the solution? Anytime they interview the protestors, they say taxes are too high for the working people. France spends a lot of money, so it needs to come from somewhere. Do they wish to shift the burden more towards the well off? is that even feasible? can France cut services without depriving it's citizens?
How can a country like this ever achieve reforms with a populace so intolerant of any marginal difference in their living conditions?

if you can tax a high earner (i.e. 150,000 eur/yr) for 5 times the amount of your working class citizen (35,000eur/yr) while not bringing the high earner's quality of life near as low as the working class citizen, it becomes really easy to solve you can bear the burden of taxation more
and if the people come to the conclusion that you can no longer tax the owners of industry in fear of them leaving, they've only agreed to allow industry to hold them ransom

in polls like that they always ask "do you have health insurance?" but never follow it up with "do you want health insurance?". i live in oklahoma which is the second highest uninsured according to that map and the vast majority of people who don't have insurance are young guys who consciously decide to spend their money on other things because they're young, healthy, and don't feel they need it. up in canada you cucks don't have the right to make that choice, the government sucks extra money out of your paycheck and forces programs on you that you don't need.

Look, here is my point
Gun rights didn't get to the state they are in today by one or two big laws, they were slowly taken away with many small laws over the last 4 decades. Gun owners repeatedly delude themselves and say that the government taking away small things isn't a big deal, that it doesn't effect them. People were saying that shit when attachment bans and shit came, then its "who really needs more then 10 rounds?" and "those guns look scary we need to ban those specific ones!" The fact that some states are getting away with laws that pretty much prevent civilians from getting a carry permit and banning huge swathes of guns for no reason is ridiculous. 20 years ago that would never fly, it would've been declared unconstitutional by the courts but now its A ok because we've aparently changed how we look at the constitution
