Operating system:
One guy came into our work meeting with a Samsung tablet and he was instantly discredited. If you are not rocking an iPad Pro you are not worth doing business with. If someone comes in with a Surface Pro 6 it's slightly better at least.

Phones:
I have no fucking clue about phones since they stopped mattering years ago when tablets became the norm. And I'm not 16 years old to care about them anyway. I know from my travels in Europe that a girl would rather have an iPhone 5s from 2013 than a modern phone, which is a bit ridiculous but they only use it for messenger and Instagram anyway.

BTW I work in an advertising agency in Manhattan. I believe for any other line of work the Surface Pro would be better.
