Polands 1919-1939 borders are aesthetic, too.
Pre-WW1 borders do look awesome, but I understand that some people (Poles, Finns, Ukranians) aren't happy with that.

Truth is, Germany has lost a lot of land mass since then. It looked good and it felt good. But now, it looks tiny and feels bad.

Austria-Hungary had great border aesthetics, but they were pretty much doomed from the start. If I were to choose, I'd give Cisleithania - the German part, which is way bigger than modern-day Austria - to Germany and the rest can form some kind of Yugoslavia, maybe it works this time. Poland would obviously instantly break free from Russia, which is totally fine. Take some of Belarus with you. Finns would go winter war mode again, probably.

You mean Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Sachsen-Anhalt, Brandenburg, Berlin, Thuringia and Saxony (=former GDR)? They all have a GDP/capita of $30,000+. While it may be not that much compared to (the former) West Germany, it is still way higher than the Polish average (~$16,000 I think)

I spent some time in Silesia, in and near Breslau/Wroclaw. It was nice, but everything outside of the city was a bit run down. East Germany is miles behind West Germany, but I think it should still pass as better than that considering that Silesia is one of Polands wealthier regions.

No, it was my mistake, I realized it shortly after posting. I'm a bit biased because I've lived in the capital city all my life and have little to no contact with the rural and small town areas. But there's no future for them, most young people move to big cities like Warsaw, Cracow, Breslau, Danzig and Poznan which are rich centers of business and the true motor of our current development. It's true that we become wealthier by the year but that fact grossly exaggerated by our state propaganda.

Lower Silesia has one of the highest inequality rates in Poland, with Wrocław and the mining region around Legnica propping it up a lot. The rural regions aren't really better than most of those elsewhere. In fact, they often "appear" worse, since the people over there do not have long established roots like central-eastern Poles.
Unironically yes. I'd rather it was partitioned between us and Lithuania, but Germany getting it would still be an improvement.
