LMAO, I honestly have zero idea what the British were thinking with that one. Makes no sense at all, I get that they are trying to incite their muslim community to join the army, but to dedicate an entire (silly) ad just for that makes no sense.
The Chinese one is really based though, you truly feel the sense of unity that their troops have and it shows a more realistic, although romancized side of the army.

One thing that annoys me about China is that they still use communist symbols and rhetoric even though the policies of the chinese government have nothing to do with Marxism anymore. The ideal of the society is very traditional and nationalistic. They do have their own degeneracy and problems they need to deal with but at least they know what is fundamentally right and wrong. Their society is incredibly collectivist but that's just how east asians are, that's what they want. I wouldn't like it too much but that's simply because I as a european have different preferences.

I met a lot of black American soldiers here in PL, during local military picnics. Cool guys. Sometimes i asked myself if their commanders didn't give them specific orders about being ultra-nice to locals, because they acted literally like our mascots, doing everything we wanted.

we're already overreliant on imports from Germany and America, adding a third country just seems like a terrible decision
honestly Portugal should start building its own weapons so we don't rely so much on foreigners, and besides even if we don't need that many guns I'm sure we could sell some to Saudi Arabia and turn a profit on the whole thing

That's what some companies and even the military themselves have been trying to do over the years. Although our industry still pretty much reliant on foreign sensinble technology, they are managing to do their parts slowly.
I think the only product today that we could sell without suffering embargos are the ASTROS.
