It takes around 6-8 hours. You're drugged all the time so it doesn't really matter. The worst part is the eschar (? dunno if this is correct translation) you get on your head after the surgery, and you can't touch it whatsoever even though it itches like crazy. Then it takes around 1-1,5 years for the "new" hair so actually grow out
Not very long but your scalp is pretty red-ish for quite some time. I think you can't shower your head for the first week if I remember correctly? It was definitely very annoying anyways
