How common is anti black racism in the Latinx community?

Blackness is ver weird in LatAm.
Most people are sort of black so there is no one drop rule. You self-identify based on how dark you are. If you are rich you are considered whiter. US racism is based off the concept of black blood tainting white blood while Latin American racism is based off the concept of white blood purifying mixed-race and black blood.

But how do you determine racial affiliation if the majority of people have intercontinental admixture? Just on the basis of how dark people are? If two mestizos have a child who is darker than either of them, will this child suffer discrimination?

yes but we aren't homogenous, we have "whites", castizos, mestizo, mulattos, quadroons, blacks. Most people are mixed but we could still mix even further.
